ROOT REQUIRED (If you don`t know what root means here, DO NOT download it.) NOT work with Samsung`s Adjust screen brightness for rooted device from 2 255. Can lock the brightness and turn off the backlight of buttons. Save ...

Does exactly what I wanted and was fast and simple                 THANK YOU
Keeps keyboard button light nicely off after reboot on ICS Arc S        Only for root
I use this on my Droid X2 along with Night Clock so that the hardware button lights are always off I never need them anyway              Perfect
Doesnt work on HTC amaze with ICS I just want to turn off the key back light        Backlight fail
In my device it could go lower at 1 But 2 is still high for night mode                 Awesome
I liked this app on my rooted moto droid My rooted droid 4 isnt supported yet        Sorry
Doesnt work on Samsung i9100
Has superuser access but then says it doesnt when you try to adjust brightness but it does turn off the soft key light Worked on my Droid 1 and Droid 2 Global perfectly though              Droid 3
works on bionic to kill insistent button leds Along with chainfire3d just made my day after missing so much of the greatness called cm7                 Great
I was able to shut off the annoying softkeys underneath the screen Awesome app Thank you so much                 Awesome Works perfectly
Doesnt work Not working on rooted LG P990     Doesnt work
Worked perfectly on my rooted Droid X but upgraded to razr maxx and is not working I guess it isnt supported yet           Droid Razr Maxx
I cant believe I waited this long to turn off the capacitive button backlight on my Evo Works great                 Evo 4G CM7
Does not work on rooted droid bionic     Does not work on droid bionic
Said my device was not rooted and DISABLED THE BRIGHTNESS CONTROL ON SYSTEM SETTINGS EVEN AFTER UNINSTALL Rooted Galaxy S II
This looks like a good app but mske sure ur device is supported           Does not work on Bionic
not the contrast controlling apps this is genuine brightness controlling app must use for root user                 Exactly what am I looking for
Disable auto brightness when app is used Otherwise it makes the setting but auto resets it back                 Needs just one thing
Works perfect for button lights to be disabled but auto brightness could no longer be used Even when I uninstall this app Seams to have broken this feature on my Droid X but now works after a reboot              Works to disable lights DroidX rooted
5s Works But not permanent for button lights Lights comes back ob after screen off Thanks edit i figured it out it works great                 5s
AdjBrightness is great at setting the brightness and disabling button LEDs                 A useful tool
Dont know why this is the only app that sets level to 2 And btw anything lower will turn off your screen I wish auto went down to 2              Nothing darker
Does what it is intended to do but when running it disables my antenna leaving my phone useless unless I force close or restart my phone Droid X     Sucks
Over a year now bugs still not fixed Droid X Black screen Locks screen with no backlight frequently Switching to SuperDim root        Buggy kills backlight
I tried two other brightness programs and they didnt work Android has a horrible feature where its dimmed right down when it gets below 5 This program which requires root overrides it and your phone is still usable and not still in complete darkness If Im out on a sunny day with less than 5 it doesnt matter anymore I can still see my screen                 Brilliant
There are only 2 apps that can set the brightness level lower than 10 on my Motorola Defy This app is perfect but I prefer the SuperDim root since that one does not require so much unnecessary permissions           Perfect app but too much unnecessary permissons
Not working on rooted Droid 3 Used to work great on the original Droid Now just says root is required even though I already granted access        Nogo on Droid 3
D2 Liberty Truly lowers screen brightness below the standard min Has few quarks since last update though Was 5 now 4
Asks for root when I am rooted If this is a kernel issue Dev should say so     Faulty
I have an HTC Rezound with ICS 403 rooted This is the only app that lets you turn off the LED buttons I cant use my phone as an alarm clock with those stupid backlight buttons on all the time while docked Ive tried a bunch of apps and this is the only one that works                 OK for HTC Rezound ICS
Too much of a hastle for controlling screen brightness Switched to Status Brightness app much better
Works well Though Im pretty sure with Dimmer and Apply Workaround on it locks my screen off occasionally              Droid X
Wont adjust brightness but will lock off button backlights Worked great on my old Droid X        No joy for Droid Bionic
Now I can use my phone late night without even my parents noticing D                 Awesome
Running ICS ROM disabled stock soft key backlight with this app Works as advertised Nice                 Works bionic
Does not work absolutely crap and useless     Not working
It works to kill the softkey lights but the interface is extremely convoluted Screen filter is much simpler and I dont feel like Im going to kill my OS using it           Use screen filter instead
Perfect now my eyes dont burn in the morning                 HTC evo 4g
Doesnt work on galaxy note And yes I am rooted and running ics stunner 45 beta     Ok so
Works great for saving battery life in high usage situations but really isnt worth the hassle with the amount of bugs phone to phone I still use it              Has a few bugs
