AdjBrightness is great at setting the brightness and disabling button LEDs A useful tool
Dont know why this is the only app that sets level to 2 And btw anything lower will turn off your screen I wish auto went down to 2 Nothing darker

I tried two other brightness programs and they didnt work Android has a horrible feature where its dimmed right down when it gets below 5 This program which requires root overrides it and your phone is still usable and not still in complete darkness If Im out on a sunny day with less than 5 it doesnt matter anymore I can still see my screen Brilliant
There are only 2 apps that can set the brightness level lower than 10 on my Motorola Defy This app is perfect but I prefer the SuperDim root since that one does not require so much unnecessary permissions Perfect app but too much unnecessary permissons

I have an HTC Rezound with ICS 403 rooted This is the only app that lets you turn off the LED buttons I cant use my phone as an alarm clock with those stupid backlight buttons on all the time while docked Ive tried a bunch of apps and this is the only one that works OK for HTC Rezound ICS
