DS video

Would love to be able to correct and update the video metadata via the app           Video metadata

It plays very well on the DS214 Play as for quality It has some issues consistently after sometime in pause it closes the file and when you reopen the same it wont ask to resume but instead it will restart from the beginning when I insert the TF700 tablet on the keyboard the program crashes and restart           Somewhat buggy

Remote video on TV always starts with first video in folder even though i selected another one Everything worked fine in previous versionsThis function was the only one reason why was using this app     Remote video

I bought a DS415Play in April 2015 and at first everything was great Streaming video to my tv using this app was amazingly simple and reliable But somehow in the last 2 weeks its all gone very wrong I am now unable to play some MKV files and tv shows which did work fine now stream episode 1 only Very disappointed     What happened

Now I cannot see my files from my NAS It keeps saying NO DATA     What happened with the new update

I like this app when i use this it work good better than other app           Usefull

Please tell me how i start it otherwise i will uninstall it     I am getting crazy

Please add material design and would be nice to edit metadata from the app Also there are too many bugs with chromecast still when multitasking on phone I frequently have to force close app and connect to chromecast again to pause or forward the video           Some bugs

This is much better than any of the DNLA players out there unfortunatly it does not work on my device When starting a video I can see the control in the dropdown but they are not functional Even if I go into the app to try to change the volume or rewind I need to first disconnect from the player and connect back All this would be half as bad if the app just crashed and turned off then I could understand why it cant control the media after the initial        Cannot control after initial start of media

App is unstable Crashes frequently Most of my collection does not play due to file incompatibility Needs a lot of work    

I loaded my movies onto the drive started DS video expecting to see a nice clean list of my video directory entries and what do I see instead A bunch of DVD images and movie names and descriptions Ive not even heard of being displayed on the screen for me to select from I click on one some Chinese movie name and one of my movies starts playing instead What in the heck is going on How do I display a list of my directories and movie names Did I do something incorrect or did you people do something wrong     What in the

The Now TV app in the UK has such a capability where if the phone is locked with a pin or pattern etc you can still play and pause video as well as disconnect the casting signal through buttons embedded in the apps notification bar This would be very useful in this app too              Playpause and Chromecast disconnect on lock screen notification

Nice design but needs more polishing Casting to Chromecast missing control over time Not able to pause           Well designed

subtitle works fine on samsung smarttv ipad and iphone its working on my samsung tab 8        subtitle problem

DS415 99CPU when serving a 4K mp4 video 5secs play then 5secs bufferring over GB network TV plays it just fine when browsing the file system No need for this app at all It just gets in the way           Poor performance

Four stars just because an annoying bug If I delete a downloaded content it disappears from the list but does not deleted from the storage I have to delete it manually              Good

The app logs me out and closes when I multitask or lock the screen This becomes very annoying during Chromecast playback as the app and Chromecast connection have to be restarted every time Also the app crashes frequently when starting Chromecast playback Playback on a phone is almost comoletely impossible files either cant be played or play laggy without sound even on 100 Mbps wifi       

Well what can I say was working fine until recent update and just wasted 25 hours trying to find a fix Unacceptable to release broken code     New update no streaming to TV or bluray

The only thing I would suggest is the ability to edit meta data for incorrectly identified media as well as the open to skip the subtitle screen              Sweet NAS streaming

Works great Use it to cast to Chromecast and Sony Bravia TV                 Love This App

This is very disappointing it relies on you having a thirdparty video player like VLC installed for you to be able to stream your content rather than actually being a full blown video player    

Still needs playlists of tv shows and queing of movies when streaming to chromecast Allow removal of wrong meta data as it gets it wrong so often           Okay update

Remote playback only starts with episode 1 of a TV series does not matter if you connect as soon as the app starts of on the episode itself not an issue that was present before        Was working OK for the most part

Absolutely every time I play through Chromecast the app crashes     Pathetic

Disappointing Despite having MX Player the app doesnt play many of my video files even the ones filmed on this handset and now stored on the NAS Chromecast is equally as poor at supporting playback The video format is not supported by Chromecast What formats are     Unusable Plays limited formats

There is no reason to keep device awake and consume battery while Im watching a movie via Chromecast    

Offers a simple and nice interface to my NAS Great that I can set up my own folders and not just standard dlna folders A feature request would definitely be for dlna push to other devices though to use this as a mobile remote Also slightly faster browsing would be nice                 Pretty good
