random opponents really suck the match is not on point and the dictionary is not up to date i cant nudge i can only forfeit and this has happened on more than one occasion This has resulted in other random opponents regardless of age to be impacted because you do not know if they are still thinking or not getting nudges and busy for a couple weeks or inadequate players I own the official board game at home but playing this version instead of the wordswithfriends competitor app is unsafe     Liledeglace

The ads are obtrusive and interrupt the flow of the game They are far too frequent after every single turn you take It won t let you play without an active data connection even if you re playing single player vs AI oponents It rejects valid words Every time I try to give this app the benefit of the doubt it disappoints me in new ways which is very sad because I love Scrabble and this is the only Scrabble app available because EA owns the licensing rights     Lee Meza

I love the game but the app sucks to be honest There are too many ads it freezes up my phone or makes it run slowly it drains my battery SUPER fast I could be at 100 and my phone will be dead before I ve played for an hour even though my battery normally lasts me for more than a day if I don t plug it in and even though I turned notifications off they re still popping up on my phone After I m done with the games I m playing I m deleting the app Not worth it         Ang G.

The game is OK but if you play with random guests they can quit without penalty just by stopping play without forfeiting a game can go on endlessly even after you nudge the opponent Also many of the ads don t go away after a time so you have to repeatedly quit the ap then restart it to keep playing It s just not worth the hassle     David Rissmeyer

Too many ads I paid for the add free version a few years ago and it worked very well I played every day and was at the highest level Then I was forced to update and 1 it was incompatible with my kindle 2 it is constantly interrupted by ads I believe it is dishonest to sell an ad free app then make it unbearably interrupted by ads later     Anne Bastings

This game uses words that are not in the English dictionary for its turn rejects words that are in the English dictionary but claims they are not uses proper nouns on its turn against the rules and uses foreign words that are not in the English dictionary when I have chosen to play in English Too frustrating and unfair It also forces you to go through a training demo when you download it instead of letting you jump into play Dont pay for it     Rebecca Porter

I like the game and played in past but suddenly ads pop up after each play Now there is a timer so you have to wait a second each time as well The developers don t seem to care that they have a lot of users but are losing users because of the irritation Create a paid no ad version and you could make some money I deleted it     A Google user

EA are perhaps paying people to give the game 5 stars The adds are ridiculous Even more so when the adds malfunction and seize up the whole app Then you have to close and re open That s actually just EA being lazy in their platform functionalities Then there are the issues where official Scrabble words namely Zen are not allowed on this game More lazy programmers Scrabble is fun Electronic Arts is slowly killing it or perhaps rapidly     Amyrella Dfw

This is a good app but I can t give it any more than 2 stars because of its ads You get an ad every time you make a move which is already bad but I keep getting ads that literally wont let me exit them The only solution is to close the app and start again but sometimes you can make a move get the unskippable ad restart the app make another move and get the unskippable ad again         James Butko

Paid for no ads Scrabble when I had a kindle fire an android device When my kindle device died I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet that s also listed as an android device but was told that the no ads Scrabble wasn t compatible or users compensated Hasbro Google Play and Amazon App store couldn t or wouldn t say why the app was not compatible between two android devices nor if a compatible one will be available in the future Disappointed and unfortunately I like the game Too many ads     Chauncil Hawkins

Scrabble ap is great It finds players who are at a similar skill level or let s you play against people you already know from Facebook I wish there was an option to see definitions maybe in teacher so that learning new words could add them to one s vocabulary not just words scrabble will accept                 Shannon Letourneau

Since when is one of the most common words in the American English language not in the dictionary Multiple by what this game claims to use The aforementioned word is also a month of the year A simple word JUNE Found that out in the first round That is a horrible oversight makes me wonder what other words have been missed other than the four very common words I have already found that this game does not recognize Fix that and you might have a really good game that is fun to play     Kaptain Kat Gaming

After every move while playing solo a full screen popup ad appears runs for several seconds before it can be closed Its very annoying and makes what a fun game pretty well unplayable I bought some coins assuming that I would be able to use them somehow to get rid of ads Nope I couldn t find anyway to use the coins I don t mind paying for a game but it appears there is no option for this on the Android platform I ll avoid purchasing any EA products after this amateurish product     David Banks

A bit frustrating but also fun don t know why there is an option to buy coins since there doesn t seem to be anything to buy with them There are ads after every move which after a while I ve gotten used to but it s not the best when you want to play for an extended time The English dictionary absolutely SUCKS words that I know work in scrabble with the scrabble dictionary I own for the board game aren t accepted in the mobile game             Natanya G

i really enjoy playing scrabble with my friends but I don t like how the tiles I get become very poor when I win a few games in a row example three or four tiles of one letter and hardly any higher point letters received throughout the entire game It s like the computer gives a handicap by way of distributing poor letters to the players who win more games Letter distribution should be completely random no matter what             Jim Reeve

Actual dictionary needed Previous versions had a dictionary WITH WORD MEANINGS Some words in Teacher mode are very strange obscure When Teacher plays BOYF as a valid move or the computer opponent plsys BOYSY I have my doubts about this game This game is a farce Bring back the old version that played allowed legitimate words     k w

All ive played is against the computer It is set at beginner but the thing has a built in dictionary How can a human mind win against that Otherwise it is fair and fun In fact the teacher mode sometimes tells me what to play next if it doesnt have the letters to use the space Otherwise it cheats by blocking the spot                 Mary Davis

The software has too many bugs Every week or so it won t launch and open It will keep going around and around trying to open but never being successful This is pretty poor considering the program has been around for years and doesn t have a lot of bells and whistles to improve             Carol Giles
