The John GBA Lite (GBA Emulator) is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.17 has been released on 2014-01-31. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I absolutely loved this emulator It is smooth easy to work with and has several features available at ease including cheat codes speed and save states The only thing is that sometimes especially the gba one of your emulators when I attempt to apply a cheat code it does not accept it even though I know it is right                     TCG warrior

This app is amazing at running GBA games It s easy to use and the ads aren t as big of a deal as people are making them out to be you can exit them instantly I thought the app was laggy but turns out my phone s just trash If you experience lag like me try making sure John GBA is the only app running Touch controls are kind of tricky but you can edit them to make the buttons larger The games sound and look as great as they did on the GBA and sometimes better Keep up the great work                     Emilie Grace Johnson

First I accidentally clicked load state because for some reason that s what shows up with an ad rather than just the ad an a way to exit the add Note I dont normally need save states on an emulator I created one completely on accident It also has an undo load state but that didnt work after loading the same save Then after replaying all of that lost playtime for Mother 3 I go to play it today and BOOM ALL THE SAVES ARE GONE Both in game save files and the save states It s not ideal     LexyconDevil

Is an okay emulator but has pretty invasive ads that randomly pop up Will quit using because there are better emulators out there The controls are not the most responsive but it is nice you can use save states The ads make the emulator unbearable to use though             Michael Adamski

I mean once you get past the ads which are escapable and if you tolerate the lag this emulator is pretty great Controls are a bit jaggy and sometimes I can t t go diagonal at certain times but at least they are smooth if you go easy on it A bit annoying with all the vibrating everytime I make a comand but it plays out neatly nothing wrong with the save files everytime I open and close the app I played Fire Emblem on it so I ocationally reset the whole thing out of habbit                     Malone Bananola

good emulator except for a few design choices the save load state buttons are defaulted to be on the screen when you first start the emulator and if you press them on accident or are curious what they do the game will hard reset as if you never played before and you will lose all progress this will also happen if you chose not to save data when closing a game you are currently playing instead of acting as if you turned off the system if the devs ever read this please fix these annoying designs             Alex Germack

The app is great However it was such a disappointment when suddenly out of nowhere it failed to load my saved data Not only that but it also deleted all of my saves I purchased the upgrade version thinking it would fix the problem and it didn t so I had to request a refund         Queruski Miller

This emu works pretty well the ads suck but whatever I have only 1 issue the load save state button no warning before loading I used saves through the game instead of save states except 1 time on accident 10 hours into my favorite game I inadvertently tap the load save state button and lose everything Again the Emulator is good but there needs to be a warning before the emulator loads a save state             Este Trips

Great app for emulating GBA games the frame rate is amazing and the quality is excellent But the only thing i don t like is the ad at the top of the screen even though i can just turn off the internet the empty space kinda bugs me but its free so i m not complaining                 Twister

This app is amazing but there s a problem when I got to the top right corner gliding segment of dark hyrule castle in minish cap it would boot me back to the title screen of the game there s probably a bug that needs to be squashed so I can continue with the main quest when the bug is fixed Ill change my star rating but all n all it s a pretty solid app just needs some few tweaks             Gary Thatcher

Not sure if this is a glitch with the ap or the ROM but one of them is removing Pokemon from my dex Lv 35 Dragonair one minute the next its like i never even had it Ive never had this issue with the other GBA emulator             Matthew T

Well I ve played on this emulator for a few days and I say it s pretty good BTW download roms that you search with JohnGBA even though ads get annoying just turn on airplane mode the multiplied speed helped me in Pokemon which speeds up the process for multiple things that take way too long to finish but the game will only render one frame a second on x16 speed But if tournament starts lagging on multiplied speed or regular speed just save the game and turn off the app then open it again                 Goru Gala

The app runs very smoothly when playing but when your playing sideways the pixels suddenly become blurry This app needs fixing while playing pokemon fire red i swear i quick saved but when i opened the app i came back to not played and it deleted all of progress         Eres Un Puto

I would just like to say at first that this emulator runs games beautifully with no issues at a constant great framerate with infrequent ads and many customization settings for useful functions such as a speed switch which can be configured to even slow down the game I will definitely be buying the paid version                     p p

it s not a bad emulator I ve been using it for a long time and I ve loves playing old games I never thought I d be able to play so thank you who made the app the one complaint I have is some games dont work like MKA it s hard to fight in that game                     RedTheBunny

This game is great almost all pokemon games except for the new ones work Dont try to cheat though because it does crash the game and you have to start from the beginning Otherwise it s a great game                 Jeremiah Brown

Whenever I start a new ROM it s perfectly fine for a few hours but then the sound desyncs I have tried restarting the app and my phone but I can t find a solution Please fix             Yellow Cake

change it to a 3 start for now there is still the possibility to improve the directional pad but another issue i can see is the cheat codes section its really gard to organize and group codes together once you already put them in they just stay in order from when you put them in if there was a way to make folders for diffent types of codes in one game that would be cool             Nuck3n Futs

Excellent work because of this emulator we can play any pokemon game at ease i love this emulator also cab use many cheats which i like the most in this emulator i like it because any 2d 0okemon game at 5mb can be played in this game i have a request for john gba please make it upgrade by adding 3d pokemon games                     Adinarayana Saragada

It s great and all But my problem about the app is saving Whenever I save and then exit it would give me a pop up if I need to save or not I pressed don t save cuz I already saved seconds ago then it placed me back where I ve never saved before             ChrisSoPhrase

this is the best emulator I ever used it feels like I m actually play Gameboy Advance games it s all just playing Gameboy Advance games on my phone it feels like I m actually playing the console and I have a console and it feels exactly the same in both ways vertical or horizontal                     retrocade animated

it is a best app to play any gba and pokemon gamed till generation 3 but when i was playing pokemon adventure red chapter it crashed and i had to redownload it and play from the beggining but it should a little bit more it is best app 4 star                 Geeta Ghimire

this is amazing i downloaded this for pokemon ruby and there was a different version of this but it got deleted and I was sad because I couldnt play ruby i can tell the viewer yes you that you will love this game 99 999999999999 100                     epic player players

I got kirby and the amazing mirror and it worked just fine but when I tried to get pokemon silver as well it deleted both games and now i can t play anything at all     Grant Hamilton

this app was very good and useful but my problem is when i saved it and come back tomorrow my progress in my pokemon emerald was reset deleted as in like new even in my other games all progress was restarted i know for a fact that i saved all my games give an explanation to this and im giving this 5 stars         Bernadette Reyes

This app is the best I will offer a couple quality of life hints 1 the back button is your best friend when the app crashes these are the only saves that matter well except for the save state saves but that takes an extra screen to get to 2 Customize your controller OMG so I ve never had a love for 2d games but being able to customize the layout of the buttons has made this my go to game emulator for free you should try it too                     Steve Webster
