This does exactly what I need it to since the people at Google want to make their search bar needlessly complicated It looks like the ICS bar inputs text without opening a new window and searches Google directly through the default browser Perfect app Only problem is it looks tiny compared to the Google Search Bar which is a very minor appearance compared to its usage Like to see paid version with more features Replace Google Search Bar

I really like that this widget restores the simple search capability that was needlessly complicated with the introduction of Google SearchNow It lacks a cursor when used with used with the Skype keyboard and has some other glitchy behavior that prevents a 5star rating Great idea needs a little polishing

Could you make it look a bit more like the persistent search bar we see at the top of the screen and hence make it a bit more prominent because otherwise it has a tendency to elude the eye Very good but
This widget works almost perfectly Of course it doesnt show what Im typing when I use it on my Nexus 7 but I guess thats expected since this was designed for phones Still works though other than that one minor issue Looks and works just fine
