Samsung devices are awful when it comes to switching keyboards and defaults If you just install and run this app it won t work unless you switch the default keyboard AND disable the default android keyboard You may have to root in order to do that but trust me it s worth it Works if you know what you re doing Don Julio

Simple works very well very low memory usage I use it with a macro so when I come home and dock my device turn bluetooth on or off a window appears with keyboard choises Prevents internal or on screen keyboard from popping up A Must A Google user

This one keeps the Choose Input Method action in the top bar so that I can quickly switch back to another method with the other app this disappears so one has to awkwardly go to the Settings to switch back Better than Null Keyboard by wparam

Works okay until the keyboard drops into standbythen when you bring it back from idle and tap in a text box the virtual keyboard appears and an error box pops up telling you it has switched back to the virtual keyboard as the default If it gets fixed itll be a 5 Galaxy Tab 2 101 wJelly Ben
