The new Gun Vault Pro app version 1.5.2 has been updated on 2014-11-20. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. FAILED Don t use any of this provider s apps There is NO SERVICE AFTER SALE ie no support no upgrades to stay compatible with current operating systems It worked for much older versions of android but never upgraded so your data becomes inaccessible to you Given the lack of customer care who knows if this wasn t a phishing scam and that data collected when you upgrade your phone Caveat Emptor Help identify this app designer and ensure s he does no more harm with other apps     Brian East

I replaced my old phone and gun vault data would not transfer I had the data backed up on a PC and an SD card But when I installed gun Vault pro on the new phone it would not pick up the data I can see the files but there is no way to make the app read them Tried to contact support but got no response So now I have to reenter all the data in a new app I used the app for two years before getting the new phone so there is a lot of data that is now useless Extremely dissapointed     stev32k

Database itself is fine with a great selection of fields and datatypes Links to gun laws etc are handy However that it only runs in portrait mode makes it a real pain to use with a keyboard on a tablet I can t give it a higher rating until the software integrates with the OS as it should         Mixed Scott Ostrander

Won t save some data caliber Had to enter data twice on some guns They just disappear After experiencing the above problems I received an update this morning These guys have fixed the problem and everything is working as advertised Great program and it looks like these guys are johnny on the spot                     Lost data Darrel Shirley

The idea for the app is great however there are three major issues that I ve seen and have emailed the developer about several times without any response The law section for nevada us severely out dated the app only works in portrait mode limiting tablets and large phone keyboard AND NRA news is fubar         Support is sub par A Google user

Only problem is I backed up the gun vault file then tried to reload it on a new device the new device does not recognize that there is anything in the vault Would be 5 stars otherwise             Brad Seger

For unknown reason my fault or the programs the app lost all my information and blew the hours of time and effort to enter all the data for a rather extensive collection This after using the paid version successfully for a number of years Just don t feel like re entering all the information again as on a mobile device this is a real chore Use with caution         Peter Pherfinion

The app is great with all of the fields and options you get on putting your guns in But the app REALLY needs an option for exporting importing like you do with your phone contacts It s a pain having to fill out the entirety of your vault with every new phone purchase             TIPSY469

After years of trying to get some seemingly simple updates to the app and continually getting the same blow off I found another app that does the same functions essentially yet here there is an open channel of communication with the developer and many of my suggestions have already been implemented within weeks vice years of waiting Am now deleting this app     Lack of Support Keith Brownmiller

I wanted to like this app but it is so sluggish After using it for a few days I switched to NM Collector desktop version and app It s a bit more expensive yet well worth the additional cost if you are serious about maintaining a comprehensive firearms inventory     So sluggish Sammy Johnson

This is a great app just one suggestion would be to make an option to put guns you have sold on a separate tab of your vault you should always have paperwork but if so some reason you cannot access it could be useful thank you for making a great app                     Great Justin Den Hartog

I have quite a large collection of firearms I ve aquired over the years and Gun Vault has been a fantastic tool for helping me keep tabs on all of them and store important data This is also important for insurance purposes Easy to use and a great piece of software Well done                     Love it Super handy Nick Harboro

This is a great app but I would like to see an import button I got a new phone and transfered my files liked the note said to do but my files won t populate into the app I just hope Customer support can help it would take a couple hours to re input all my guns                     Great app Adam Kimble

Great app very helpful just a couple suggestions to recommend quick subtract on ammo counter to make trips to the range easier a simpler theme like the basic settings look preferably and a pin lock versus a password lock would make this a five star top recommended app for me but still really good                 Love it Ryan Morgan

For those that need to re enter information when upgrading phones You shouldn t have to If you use a file manager and look in the internal storage you ll fund a folder named GunVault Just zip that folder and email it to yourself or connect your phone to a pc copy the folder to the pc then over to your new phone The developer says it saves to the sd card but it didn t for me I have changed phone numerous times and never lost any data                 Great app but could use some features A Google user

Bought this App to keep track of what I have in Inventory both weapons and ammunition When loading new weapons or in edit mode on an existing one a Next Button should be added to get down to the save screen With my phone the text entry section at the bottom of the screen prevents the App from scrolling down to the bottom I need to hit the Enter button a number of times before the Save icon appears                 Needs another Next Buttom within the Attachment Screen Steven Hutchins
