App is currently broken I click on a item and it loads a completely different thing not even on the page selected I also contacted gumtree about a different issue I had with their platform I gave a detailed description of the problem and asked for a response I got an automated your message thank you for your message in return They didn t even read it     Greg K

There are issues with the messaging and search alert functions as many have already raised here Messages do not show up in real time you are better off using desktop site Search alerts gives no push or email notifications regardless of whether set up on web or app It s not at all helpful for search buy u0026 sell         Rachel Black

New conversations don t show up You have to exit the conversation and get back again to see the replies it s frustrating Apart from that the app has a good idea behind it and is useful I wish there was a way to make people answer to their messages as many just leave and ad and then forget it ignoring all their messages             Daniel Baharestani

I love Gumtree I buy and sell on Gumtree and have been for a few years now But there s an issue I would like to bring up I see lots of ads for free animals lot of these animals get neglected or end up homeless because of owners who don t want them anymore There are a lot of abused and sick animals as a result Please put a ban on free animals                     Olivia DiC'e

Just adding on a bit extra regarding Gumtree is it just me noticing this or has everyone using this app noticed how the same Gumtree keeps repeating itself when you scroll down And I mean really obviously as well Within 10 15 lines of products for sale sometimes the same item can pop up 2 3 or even 4 times And this is happening to not just one item but most of not all but I think it s mainly the new ads Either way Gumtree please fix this It s really annoying and not necessary     Robert Hadodo

There s a bug I found on this app which has cost me several sales When a buyer contacts messages me I cannot respond due to buyer allegedly closing conversation After failing to reply to the 4th buyer in a row who enquired with me due to alleged conservation being ended from them I went on my desktop and responded to the buyer and we were able to communicate with each other Went back on the app a few minutes later to speak with the buyer again and again I couldn t communicate with them     Yasin Ozdemir

Love using this app There are a couple of problems though When saving a search and I ask for notifications immediately I don t get any notification at all Also since the last update when I receive a message it sometimes notifies me but most of the time it doesn t anymore             Mike

Sensational I love this app You sort of become a part of a community when you join Treasure to be discovered constantly u0026 to be made very easily IMPORTANT Take care not to fall prey to Time Wasters They unfortunately do exist u0026 you will no doubt encounter them whilst selling trading or giving away for free they generally ask ridiculous questions u0026 offer absurdly low prices Best to not even respond                     Sonny Boy

I love the concept of the app and in its early days gumtree was a thing of beauty since its acquisition by ebay it has predictably declined in a number of ways the advertising is mildly irritating now but the app is still functional the most difficult thing about the app now is the messaging function messages now appear or disappear seemingly at random also the sneaky alignment with paypal and the way they take a huge fee that they don t warn you about prior is something to be mindful of         Richard H

I think there may be some automated messages asking if items still available because when I add in listing removed soon as sold still sometimes get these messages never to hear from that person again get offers also then accept and message buyer numerous times not a single reply also there need to be put in place some way if a deal is made to meet that person or pick up the buyer should be locked in and if fails shown up should pay a fee as I have been stood up and waited plus travel cost to me             Love List King of Hearts

app constantly crashes causing you to loose your place in searching etc and the time for it to reload is anoying gumtree says to others having this issue to uninstall then reinstall but this makes no difference and the people at gumtree totally ignore feedback and refuse to do anything about it I use this app daily and the more I use it the faster it locks up UPDATE 19 7 As suggested I got in touch with the help line FABULOUS SERVICE NOT Was told to uninstall and reinstall worthless         Noel Terrick
