I love this app We are a family of 8 and this app makes shopping for birthdays and Christmas so much easier Previously we used pen paper list or email This app you can keep up in real time with what has been purchased so no duplicates happen We will continue to use this app as long as it s available suggestion I believe a scanner for UPCs would be so helpful I was out shopping and saw something I wanted to add to my list but no scanner I took a picture and when I got home added it to my list Would have been so much bettera                     Nikki Tole

Very handy app to have Would be great if there was an option for the recipient of a gift to re add that same item back onto their list once recieved or an ongoing flag that doesn t allow it to show as purchased on your list Sometimes you want things on your wishlist that you use all the time like gift cards for favourite restaurants or favourite personal care products But if somebody reserves it then it greys out to the rest of the group To add it back on you have to start from scratch             Dana Way

meh the idea is nice but too many glitchy things like it sends email links to tell people a list had been updated but the link is for the list of another person in the group         Malinda Cornforth

This is so much better than trying to remember what everyones told you they want or trying to get everyone to put their lists into a text message There is nothing even close to what this App Website can do to keep you organized with what your buying for each person It also prevents the chance of duplicate gifts when a gift is reserved Purchased everyone can see that except for the person that made the list It includes Everything you ll need to know like Clothing sizes colors fit etc                     thomas card

This is the app all my friends and family use and have used for years Great interface Just recently though some of our kids got duplicate gifts And the givers apps show that they had reserved them So it appears the locking system is broken somehow This happened twice now with experienced users so definitely a bug                 Tony P

Our family of 8 is going to give this a try So far we love the idea and all the options We especially love that you can use it online with the Chrome extension We tested out a few other apps before deciding on giftster One suggestion I would like to see added maybe it s in the works is to integrate the app in the share list and have it fetch the info like the Chrome extension does on a computer Also would be nice to fetch the info straight from other apps like bestbuy or amazon I know there is a fetch button inside the Giftster app but that just opens a browser and I have to re find the item all over again through the giftster browser in order to add it to my list Nice work so far we all love it                 Wade Mesenbring

Completely changes xmas shopping for me now I can get my entire family and share lists Love that you can mark items as bought and add stuff to other s lists without that person seeing The ability to add so much detail to items too such as pictures website links etc is excellent too Plus it s all free Only one thing I found I couldn t do through the app deleting a group but I could on their site Will definitely continue using the app into the future                     A Google user

its an ok idea in theory how about a SIMPLE DELETE OPTION why must i keep gift ideas or lists from 2016 or ex girl friends who s names or lists can t be removed a simple delete button if i accidentally delete someone they can always be re added but hey i CAN delete this app food for thought                 Damion Clarke

Our family has been using this for a few years With some getting married having kids and other reasons it was getting so hard to monitor who s getting who what This solves it all My daughter s best friend was often contacting me at this time for my daughters birthday and for Christmas and so I added her to our family but then realised the could have their own and not have to redo lists Her friend has now set up one for her family Fantastic invention particularly as it can be used on computer laptop tablet or phone so u can update at home or on the go on whatever device your comfortable with                 Lisa Parrey

I love this App I downloaded it for Christmas lists It successfully replaced the Christmas list on the fridge Pros I love that everyone can see the lists in the group wherever they are I love that you can mark gifts you buy and everyone but the person you buy for can see that the item is no longer available Just love that everyone in group is connected through this for items and there is no need to call asking what about this or did you already get this etc Having on my phone is so simple handy when out shopping Great search ability and easy to import fetch items Web links make online shopping easy to get exactly what is wanted Cons I wish you could delete list items if you change your mind Only way I ve found around this is to click got this but a delete function would be easier and cleaner All in all very pleased and have been recommending this App to everyone All my family is raving about it as well and recommending it to their friends too                 Lori Porter

Pretty cool Idea for app Great search feature Cool capture algorithm The one thing one can make all the lists they want But so far I cannot find the option to delete items I accidentally tapped I made group but didn t need it can t delete it Oh also it s a little confusing trying to figure this app out I think a tutorial or even a the same in video I emailed them hopefully ill receive a message in a timely manner All in all It s already exploded in our family and has become helpful Update they are very fast at your questions and responses thanks for that Took them only twenty minutes to reply to my email and an hour fifteen for my review That s awesome                 A Google user

I dislike this app because of its permission requirements It s asking for access to permissions that are not necessary for its function therefore I feel my privacy is being sold         Joshua N

Meh The concept is great and my in laws have been using it for a while However I d be much more likely to recommend it to my side of the family if it had more features e g the ability to add gifts using the share function in another app like the browser or Amazon comparison shopping results sales alerts etc It works fine for what it is but it could be so much more             Kara Reichert

I have family that refuse to view my kids Christmas list because you have to create a login Can a list not be viewed by non members Another suggestion when a list link is shared in any format include a short tutorial on how to reserve and mark gifts as purchased The people who are less computer savvy have a hard time seeing things that are clearly right in front of them To add a picture the only options are mobile web search or to take a picture What if I have a picture in my gallery or downloads to add             Lauren H

We were so excited to discover the ability to make suggestions on someone else s list So much easier than all of the work arounds we were attempting One problem to do this I always have to switch to my laptop It would be much more convenient to have this on my phone and tablet apps which I use much more often Update We all just realized that not only is there no way to suggest on the app but no one else using the app can see any suggestions either We all use the app much more than the website so making suggestions is completely pointless Please fix this potentially useful feature Another update the mobile view on the actual website looks exactly the same as the app We ll be fine doing that and deleting the app                 Sue Sue
