Excellent program I d give it 5 stars were it not for the terrible sound tones Dull lifeless and not very clear to the ear It makes identifying the notes difficult at times and it wears on you I can only take so much of it Also is there any way to switch back and forth between piano keyboard and guitar My partner plays piano and I play guitar and we share the tab it would be nice to have the option to switch back and forth Otherwise this is an excellent program             Jon Terry

Brilliant app covers more than just pitch but rhythm and basic theory along with the circle of fifths I knocked a star of because support never got back to me about something I m still confused about My bending to pitch on guitar has improved massively Edit I bought the full pack but just noticed there was another 99p upgrade for custom lessons I bought this and have now lost all the other upgrades UPDATE The issue resolved after restarting the app Star given back                     GMC Phil

I tried several similar apps and this is the best one by far There are interactive musical dictionaries Everything is demonstrated thoroughly by example As a beginner the free version has everything that I need and more I d gladly buy the full version if I ever needed it                     Jevae Anton

It s awesome to track my improvement The layout and interface is super clean This one of those apps where you have to pay to unlock extra content but its only 3 to unlock all of extra exercises It takes a while to get to the point where you might want the bonus exercises though                     Jade Andersen

The augmented diminished issue is in the theory section I have a couple of things to say about this Yes C to F and C to G flat are enharmonic to the ear but they serve quite different functions as it pertains to music theory Additionally this kind of goes away once you start talking about more than a single interval between 2 notes Augmented chords and diminished chords are in no way the same thing The review of 3 stars was only to make this comment i haven t really used the app yet             Robert Beck

Very handy tool for rhythm practice You re given a quiz where you take a measure and with a metronome sounding out are asked to tap it out Thank you for including latency calibration Placement of Retry and Skip are way too close together and the tapping space is 1 3 center of area instead of the entire horizontal length of the screen Depending on the shape of your phone this can be uncomfortable over time It would be nice if the user could begin the measure on any one of the beats                 Quail Bert

I love it Everything is as described After trying the free version for some time I paid for all the exercises May be when I finish the exercises I will pay for the cus om exercises The lessons are graded well and it is like having a personal teacher I find the singing exercises very hard                     Tyan Towers

Well thought out interface theory is described correctly and very to the point the exercises are all useful and the way the difficulty level increases is very good The app is also very good at revealing the flaws in your musical hearing ability by having very good summaries and reports of exercises Had this app been around when I was still studying music at the Conservatory this would ve saved me hours of time each day by making my daily commute my hearing practice time                     Bram Vermeire

this is the best app i have ever downloaded all levels of training unlocked from beginning guitar and piano specific trainers and visual aids so much theory and information accesible from the start i have never advanced as fast as i have with this app at this point i can identify all the standard chords on a guitar i feel like I can find the inversions of any chord on the guitar easy peasy and i am so excited to tackle chord progression theory thank youu003c3                     Sam Dominguez

Everything I ve tried so far in the app is great my only complaint is that it s a bit tedious to deselect multiple frets in the guitar note training exercise Other features I d love to see interval identification on a fretboard customizing fretboard strings I d like to be able to set up a banjo fretboard with a specific tuning All in all pretty happy with the app especially considering most of it is free                 Dakota St. Laurent

This app is great It includes everything you might want in a music training app with some theory notes but also comparisons scales interval identification rhythm sight reading training etc i love it and I ve never encountered a bug or anything either so 5 5                     Yuriy Honcharuk

Contains a robust breadth of learning materials However the only instruments available are piano and guitar To make the sight reading exercises more universal there should be an option to just enter the letter of the note rather than select a piano key or guitar chords             Misti Schmidt

This app is great for musicians to advance their understanding sound recognition and abilities I wish the sight reading trainer would let me go an octave lower in bass cleft to help practice sight reading pedal tones and dor people that tuba it would be nice though I play trombone I am suprised I could not go below low C even in the custom exercise creator                 Job Maryland
