HUMAX Media Player for Phone

I recently bought the Humax 4 Tune PVR and one of the first things I did was install the Media player app on various devices in our house that consists of both Android and IOS devices The app installed smoothly connected to my wi fi quickly and found my Humax on my home network without issue It runs really well I am able to playback recorded TV from the Humax and also media from my NAS Some reviews state there is no fast forward rewind I just checked to be sure and I am able to move forward and back wards using the time shift slider thing with no issues All in all great app I do have questions for Humax support regarding other things but the media player app works great for me                     Humax Media Player jw5895

While I can get this app to see my Freeview 2000T the unit needs to be ON and its sharing needs to be ON which is connected by wire and Homeplug to my wireless router it is only by virtue of uPNP and that it s a DNLA device I can see all its media files but this app cannot play its ts video files nor register it as a Humax Home Server That must be for old devices     Very disappointed Tim Hill

After a couple of hours I finally set it up To find I m unable to watch my recordings due to ts format Why can t you make the mobile format mp4 The only way around this is I ve had to download program the convert to am online video converter which great it s a free service then download as mp4 format Your apps are not user friendly But like TSB your not exactly experts         Brian Ludlow

The app won t allow me to connect to the box saying they aren t on the same network when they are I presume this app only works if the box is connected to the network wirelessly which is absolutely useless seeing as most of the Humax boxes don t connect wirelessly unless you buy extra products to allow it to Mine is connected with cable to the router as i think most other people will be too Fix this problem Humax by allowing connectivity to none wireless connections and make this app usable     Not even usable Andy Davis
