Auto zoom to country level whenever i press the compass drives me crazy Whoever had that idea it was a terrible idea Click on compass is to set North and keep map fixed so i can search things on it definitely not to zoom all out There are some inaccuracies would be nice to have a way to give feedback or let you know where the path was not there Would be nice to have a legend There are all sorts of symbols on the map and i have no idea what they mean                 Mihai Dobrescu

This is THE application that provides maps for treking in Romania With downloadable offline maps GPS position speed A bit non intuitive for example it tries to download track data at every startup even if one s speed is GRPS and subsequently got STUCK No composable track no walk to buy still it is very ok in the end                 Rares Serban

The old version was better I am now updating the review down to 2 starts regarding that you cannot see all the tracks with number on the map and you cannot identify the intersection point Furthermore I see pins instead of tracks on the map If I am in the middle of nowwhere I cannot see which is the most near track This is frustrating regarding that the old version worked perfectly and it help me a lot in my journeys         Thor Alveskan

Compared to the old version it has a lot more bloat I don t need the stupid stories I just need the map The trail markings are visible only when you zoom in a lot and by then you can t see the whole trail The markings should appear more sooner Also it doesn t work well when a slow network connection is active It tries to get some data and you have to wait a lot for it to start It must have a timeout and when gathering data takes more than 3 seconds it should switch to a offline mode             Andy A

I love the new maps The only big problem I have with it is the fact that the trails cannot be seen from low zoom You need to zoom a lot to see them and this is a big problem     Octavian Toader

If the developers are listening I purchased over the years many paper maps by Schubert u0026 Franzke Romanian mountain ranges some in duplicate some repurchased more than two times as they got worn out from trips From the reverse side of the one of these paper maps I found the link to the app I have used it in several Romanian mountain ranges and it worked flawlessly I am not saying there was no room for improvement but it used to be an excellent application Now it s broken as many users point out I could even PAY for an application of this sort All I need is already owned by Schubertu0026Franzke the maps themselves and the app mechanism Please just fix it put a reasonable price on it and start collecting money while I navigate precisely the Romanian backcountry with it     Bogdan Achimescu

Crashes on map download in Oreo however works on previous versions of Android EDIT One year later and maps download still doesn t work shows that nobody cares about this app Get Zenithmaps instead it works     Radu Velicescu

Guys i love the app unfortunately on my LG G5 SE H480 i can t download any maps On older phones and other ones it seems to be ok I even reset to factory and wiped my phone and i still have the same problem Please try to figure out and solve the issue after that i can give 5 stars Thanks             Daniel Costescu
