used it for years and it was good for the purpose now they are sneaking a new privacy policy on you read it why do you need to collect such an excessive level of info to perform a simple task please don t tell me Google will not translate for you if they do not know my name my phone number and my ip address I m not accepting it and i want my money back Update 0114 please update your policy accordingly to reflect what you say in responses and I ll start us using it again     Igor Y

I used to love this app but the new update shows that it is not offline it sends data back to Russia all your details will be captured who knows where this data will finish up you will get unwanted ads and your messages can be read and passed to government agencies BE CAREFUL IF YOU WANT TO KEEP USING THIS AP Disconnect from the internet then translate then delete all history I will never use this ap again and I will report this app to Google it is no longer what you paid for     Anon 7

Unfortunately it doesn t translate accurately and can give some meanings that convey an incorrect message It often chooses inappropriate Russian words Don t use it to write letters It s only use is to translate Russian to English provided its a fairly simple piece of writing It doesn t work well with English to Russian         Gavin Logan

I have tried to translate words in images with poor results It completes the task 2 times out of 5 attempts The successful attempts are good translations but the others the camera is heard taking the image but the outlined words do not always appear on screen             David Evans

Love the features and accurate translation Only one issue When using the microphone there is a repetitive beep sound if no audio is detected A single beep is sufficient                 A Google user
