It s extravagant I found my friend s lost phone with this app It will be confusing and frustrating if you only use map as guidance But the magic happens when you manage to activate the phone sound by using this app with 5 minutes duration even when the phone is in silent mode So that you can locate your lost phone with combination of device locations within the map and sound generated from it                     Sephy noerfahmy

It was our last resort My wife tends to lose everything this includes her brand new phone I installed the first app with a good rating from the play store not expecting it to work But it did Even though her phone was on silent mode I could make it play a sound And we found it back So happy now and still can t believe it                     Laurent Chenu

I have to say this app is all it says and more my daughters s10 was stolen and I was able to pin point the exact location of the phone to allow the police to retrieve the phone with me I am 1000 satisfied and have recommended all my friends to download this app on their phones and that of their kids I love it the google maps updates in real time was an asset especially as the battery was low I AM A FOREVER OWNER OF THIS APP If you must change it make it better although I dont see the need to                     Muffet Arthur

Great app My husband lost his phone at the golf course Although he wasn t able to find it someone else did in the morning The app enabled me to secure his data and leave a message and contact number with his name attached They called immediately and he has his phone back The app told me where it was and made an alert sound as well If it wasn t a gulf course I m sure it would have been found sooner hahaha worth the download for sure Not loaded with ads or misleading downloads                     Josie Sgroi

This is brilliant Left my phone on the roof of the car and used this to track it It must ve flown off while I was doing 60mph on the highway It showed exactly where the phone was and where I was in relation using another phone Found my phone on the side of the highway in the tall grass Never would ve found it without this app                     Donnie Roberts

This app is AMAZING My daughter was visiting On the way to their hotel we stopped at walmart As we were leaving the hitel I noticed I didnt have my phone After looking in the car going back to walmart and searching the car again we went home thinking my phone was gone for good But i tried this app and it took us back to the hotel and right to the phone It fell out into the hotel parking lot It was in the parking lot under a truck Yay But how do I unlock it Cant find how to do that                 Jo Jolley

Don t do it Choose another Everything was fine until I lost my phone When I misplaced it the password that the app accepted for the lock screen doesn t work on the phone nor has enough character spaces to accommodate the password Trying to troubleshoot seemed even more difficult due to no help from Google or anybody restart the platform company the denied all liability from Google it even says Google LLC right under the name Still trying to unlock my phone 2 days later Thanks Google You f ing suck     Brian Whitson

I absolutely love this app I have had to use it twice now where both phones that were not mine were stollen The device location was on for the first phone so I played sound and secured the device while leaving a phone number Thankfully the person that took the phone called and I was able to retrieve The second phone did not have location turned on but I played the sound and was able to locate The person that took it returned it back to where they found it We recovered the phone                     Taylor Wager

My husband lost his phone u0026 really thought it was somewhere in our house I installed this app u0026 it indicated that it was actually about an hour from our house in the vacinity of where he had been earlier in the day Find My Device didn t put us in exactly the right spot at first but after refreshing a couple times we could see we were in the right spot When we still couldn t find the phone I used the Play Sound feature u0026 there it was Someone had thrown it in the garbage Thank you                     Valorie Hunter

Best app for finding And if you say that it sends a code to the lost device then better link at least 3 devices to the account which has the device most vulnerable to thieves and make sure that both receiver devices have 2 step verification enabled It works like this if you follow both requirements then both devices will get the code This way if a receiver device is lost then the other device will get a code Then you will be able to access it                     sweety makhija

I downloaded this wonderful app This app is very simple useful and effective By installing it we can found our lost phone even without sim card It forces the Sound to come on when you select Play Sound even if the phone is set to Silent mode You can still hear it And app shows your location too in addition to location of your phone I recommend to install it by all android devices users                     sunita sehgal

As someone who loses her phone often this app is a lifesaver lol I love the fact that it will ring very loud even if I left my phone on silent or vibrate and won t stop ringing until I tell it to I haven t had to use the other festures yet and hopefully won t need to However I do like to know I have the choice to erase my phone remotely if my phone was stolen or I feared my privacy was being invaded Nice job Google                     Krista Outwater

The app is good but it doesn t work after the phone has been resarted NOT to be Confused with Factory Resting When a device has been restarted is says unlock your phone to us all features and I have found that find my phone doesn t work while in that stage Untill after 1 minute of opening apps and unlocking then the tracking works Also there is a flaw that is very crucial if you toogle airplane mode while device is locked it will turn of all communication And findy device won t work             Brandon Thuo

I tested using it with my phone actually on my side but it directed me to the place which is far from where my phone is I am not happy with the result thinking that i can t track or find my phone when lost or stolen I would rather use the Samsung Find my Mobile directly online coz it is more accurate Please fixed it so that you can get 5 stars from me             Ronnie Quilino

I will do some further testing but so far this app is not working for me which is a pity I installed the app on two of my three mobile devices and the app is not finding one device using the other If the app does start to function properly with further testing I will be sure to edit my review and rating appropriately         Bob Chapman

i have had app for years and havent had any problems until lately it said my daughter s phone was about 2 miles away from where she was at i confirm her location later two weeks later a couldnt find my phone it said it was in an area i hadnt been for a bout a day it said last seen 3 hours ago i found it later in my house 1 5 miles from the location it had said last seen             Bob Milliman

This needs to have a setting in the app that allows you to turn on location to the lost device remotely I don t like to have my battery drained by having location on all the time so being able to turn on location remotely would be a big improvement for this app and features and would still allow you to find your phone even if you have location turned off when you lost it             Mitchell Anderton

Good but got a few bugs and a stupid feature Sometimes it fails to ring on time and does so after I close app Last night I rang one of my other phones and the phone didn t ring Turned off the app and the phone rang half an hour later after I felt asleep And the stupid feature is that if we try to locate our phone then the app sends a notification to that particular phone that the phone has been located Now imagine that happening in the scenario of the phone getting stolen         Razorus Borgohain

Very good app I have 2 phones and my wife maria has my other device but they are both connected and linked to the same Google accounts So i can easily find and see where exactly both my phones are So yeah i would recommend to anyone this app is actually so good loving it when i need it comes so handy U can even check and see what percentage is your device on and u can actually Lock the 2nd phone and type anything on the lockscreen of the 2nd phone so it stays there while u find your phon                     Michael Miso

The basic find my device phone works but there is one missing function If the missing phone has a bluetooth headset connected then it rings in the headset which you ll never hear so this tool gives a worthless approach to find my device It should ignore the bluetooth headset and use the phone speaker s so you stand some chance of hearing it Google Are you listening             Charlie Moran

I used this app to lock my tablet with my phone Now I cannot get into the app on my phone to try to unlock my tablet It says I have no internet connection Make sure Wi Fi or cellular data is turned on then try again Folks beware when locking a device The thing is I am using internet messaging etc on that device I clearly have wi fi and cellular I am at home I appear to be locked out of the app     Robin Armstrong

It sucks DONT DO IT I couldnt find the button to get rid of it even after uninstalling it and now my phone has been wiped and it didnt clarify or ask me when erasing I lost all of my texts pictures and some apps or progress in apps I know that sounds like i didnt install or uninstall correctly but it literally would not let me make changes to it     Haley Dufva

It works great but We use it to find my wife s phone but first it always finds my phone that I m holding in my hand This is frankly stupid There should be a setting or even a default that the app ignores the phone on which it is installed If I m looking for my own phone I m not going to be using the app that s installed on that phone Let s think about that                 Peter Chase

While I am happy overall I would like to see a couple of changes 1 the option to arrange the devices that are linked to my account to a personalised order And 2 with regards to the play sound option can you put a button to start stop the the sound rather than it starting as soon as you tap the option I have tapped it by accident and it called my driver phone which ment he had to pull over to see what happened Thanks                 Joe Marquez

The app is great but it lacks 3 basic feature 1 To take selfie and a short video optional of the intruder and mail it on the given email ids 2 Uninstall prevention 3 Phone switch off prevention and notification bar access prevention from the lock screen so that findmydevice app can still run                 Divesh Verma

great app but the only problem with this is that when you lose your phone you need a two step verification to login if you have it activated which is a bit of a problem when you don t have your phone on you which makes it pretty much useless in that situation please fix this problem and I ll give it a five star         Boz Stipic

I just happened to be looking for my phone which I misplaced I usually look for it by using The computer and located that way I just happen to pick on the wrong you URL and it sends me to this so I downloaded it this is absolutely worthless just like somebody else said no sound can be played at all it s able to locate the phone in fact I had the phone right next to me and tried to play the sound and was not able to do it no update since November 2018 Will utilize computer to locate     Shannon Tittle

Nice app but Why I can t contact my lost device at all if location is set to GPS only in the lost device This means I can t play a sound secure or erase the lost device simply because it s set to GPS only This is absurd more so if you think that I can contact a lost device when its location is OFF won t tell me where it is but I can play a sound etc but NOT when its location is ON in GPS only mode Also why not allow to remotely turn location ON and select mode         Tonushka

my experiance was that i was not aware that i could and would be tracked by family members and if wanted they could pinpoint my every location and follow me everywhere i believe this is a feature that should hold a code only known to the owner of the phone and activated only when looking for the location of the phone and that a new coad or number can be added at the time of locating the phone or it should be optional if the owner wants to change the code or keep it at current status             Lovely Loveless

This is a great app I have across I would like to suggest for improvement so that when Iam sure my phone is stolen by somebody I should contact that person An SMS should be sent either by the system or the new sim card to my other telephone number when a different sim card is inserted into the lost or stolen phone to let me know the number that has been imserted imto the phone Thank you                     Emma Logit

This app was working fine Used it a couple of times Then right when I need it most it doesn t work I was able to find my phone eventually thank God but figured maybe the permissions were set right I ve been playing with this app for over 4 hours and can t get it to work in my own home I followed the directions to a T and still can t get it to work Since it worked before and it s worthless now you get a 1 star only because I can t give you a zero star     Christopher Matthews

Well it worked fine in finding my device but when I used the secured option it set a pass code abs I had no way of figure it out They should send how to retrieve password just as they give instructions on how to stop the ring I had to in the end reset my phone and lose all my infoirmation         June Bugg

If your phone is stolen this app is no use if your settings aren t set up to find PLUS once you ve not logged onto to Google past 30 days it s no use at all Samsung owners be sure you register thru their website it s much more apt to find your phone     Ms BigMom
