Very useful because it uses Hanyu Pinyin which is a real boon for those of us who cannot read or write Chinese characters and it is not like a normal dictionary which cannot identify sounds Only problems are that about 15 of the English explanation are grammatically imperfect many words lack sentence illustrations and the people manning the system do not fully understand the differences between nouns verbs adjectives and adverbs But overall a useful app for English educated people                 Jeffrey Soh
