Update 9 16 thanks for the response I checked my notification settings and it was turned off for this app thru Android Not sure how that happened but hopefully it s fixed now Reminders no longer working for a few months now I always set a reminder and it doesn t go off I ll check and it says the event has past Today I checked 90 minutes before my doctor appointment and it said reminders were off I know I set one so I did another for an hour before appointment watched my phone and it didn t go off Checked entry and it says reminders off What the heck                     Sandra Rose

Perfect for busy couples Been using this app for 10 months now Its fantastic The only thing I wish it had was an option for Anniversaries not just Birthdays The ease of adding appointments on my cell or by logging in on my desktop is a higher bonus Importing other calendars is so simple I no longer worry I m creating a scheduling nightmare for my husband and I Well worth the small charge for the Gold plan                     Kristi Beber

This almost perfect app has greatly improved our family organization We started using it for the shared grocery list but have expanded to meal planning recipe storage and even an enormous packing list for camping trips 4 stars instead of 5 due to functionality opportunities Specifically occasional sync lag can t easily move items between categories or from one list to another can t filter or sort can t search can t copy paste But still a great app that we use daily                 Sandra Pinchback

Best app that I ve found that keeps our family on track You get email updates and when items are added and a weekly schedule if needed We have a saying If it s not on Cozi it s not happening The shopping list are also awesome the only downside is that if you reuse lists and uncheck an item you have to drag and move it up the list so you can see the what you need to get Overall great app you won t regret it                     Stout Ohio

Time and time again I ve tried to come to cozi with my family but their calendar sync feature is just way too clunky and does not work First off there are two different ways to import your calendars except one way is just a one time sync vs their reported way to constantly syncing with google calendar Their constant sync which is adding the ical link can only be done from a desktop which defeats the whole purpose The probable reason they have instructions to do this is so they can avoid paying google for their api access however this workaround just doesn t work Adding events from my google calendar will not cascade to my cozi calendar Adding an event on google calendar via the web interface will almost instantaneously show up on my phone Why they think this is acceptable is beyond me especially if they think people should pay 30 for their premium service Google makes it super easy to give your app permissions to read your calendar either on mobile or web without this hack There are TONS of apps that do this Cozi Dev Team PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update your calendar syncing feature so that me along with my wife can sync our google calendars from our mobile phones using googles one tap permission option I am even willing to have this as a cozi gold option and I would gladly give you 30 every year just to keep it As you all are probably agile shop I ll take another guess that you use scrum for your product development Here is a user story for the dev team As a new customer I want to be able to import my google calendar events by using google s one click option so that I don t have to use a silly workaround that doesn t work from my desktop computer or to put it more politely to improve the user experience Description of actions from the end user standpoint From the cozi mobile app the user clicks on settings u003e manage calendars u003e add calendar From there the typical android prompt requests permission to access your calendar to which I approve From there on out anytime the customer updates his her google calendar the event is immediately pushed to show up on my cozi calendar for my family to see My test events were created 30 minutes before writing this review it took about an hour to create this review and the even STILL hasn t shown up in my cozi calendar     Brandon Draper

Monthly calendar needs a lot of work Should be able to remove preset holidays Font size is terrible and should have size font options the monthly calendar looks awful with the font type all the same size and color too big for the calendar squares also It does not feel peaceful or easy to read the way it currently looks App reminders could be better with more phone text reminder options The to do lists are confusing on the phone to do and grocery lists get confused to easily if you d             Wendi Phone

Overall phenomenal Easy to use useful features other than just the well organized calender Above all the shared calender makes it easy to know what you and whoever you re sharing with are all doing be it a family calender or for you and a significant other Color coded for ease and notifications of updates you ll always know what people are doing so long as they actually update it And all on a free app                     Patrick Gilfillan

Cozi is a really useful app that just needs a couple of improvements As a family we ve started using Cozi and it is really useful so much so that we have paid for the Gold version After using it for about a week there s a couple of things that niggle a bit Firstly on the widget you can t scroll down to see what is happening in the future and secondly having paid for the Gold version the month view is a bit of a let down different family member s events should be different colours                 Jamie Smith

Doesn t integrate with Google in the app just another app that does what the built in Google calendar already does except to get all the benefits they offer you have to pay for it You have to pay 30 per year to see a month view Really If it wasn t for my wife wanting to use this I would remove it         Kevin Lamkin

Love the app but would like calendar view to be a better view or adjustable so that the info entered on a day can be viewed from within the month view page And lists are also a little awkward to work with although I love the concept I would just like a little more ease of editing or customizing the views thanks for the otherwise great app                 Sherri Wallce - Young

Love love love this app Stayed with BBM after switching to Android because of the group calendar so I was thrilled to find Cozi when BBM shut down in May Have even started to use the lists since they can be viewed by all Complaint I wish I could print out all appointments for monthly business accounting purposes I ve only used the app so I don t know if this option is available through the desktop version EDIT Am using the paid version Add Set appt for one reminders to all                     gina r

I love using this app to communicate with my family It is so easy to use and the design is effectively simple Before this app there was a lot of miscommunications between events and we would often mix up days and times There was too much back and forth texting and it just didn t work Now we enter an appointment event in the calendar add notes and directions if necessary and everyone gets a notification on their phone e mail We live the different viewing options easy viewing for all                     Jacqueline Poole

I heavily use this app It keeps my husband and I on the same page even when we are apart The list feature is perfect for grocery list As we go through our days and notice something for the grocery run we add it to the list Then when either of us stops at the grocery store we just pull up the list check off what we purchase and remove the checked items The calender feature has the capabilty to catergorize events So easy to use                     Janet Allan

We have used Cozi free version for several years now and like the flexibility of multiple people seeing the same information We like being able to set reminders but wish we could do more than one with the free version My employment requires me to maintain a Google Calendar and I wish it was more simple to merge the two calendars and for those two platforms to sync together If the syncing was seamless I would definitely give five stars                 P Johnson

Couldn t live without it We have been using for probably close to 10 years with several nannies and my family It is so helpful for having lists we can share and calendars since we don t all use the same type of phone or calendar apps The extra reminders on the Gold version are very helpful Would love to see new features like adding an Edge app for Samsung phones tasks option and better calendar integration with Samsung calendar would be great Overall great app                     Selin Hoboy

I have used this app for years We rely on the reminders and love the shared grocery list But for some reason several months or maybe a year ago it stopped notifying me about appointments I have checked all my notification settings There is no reason it should not be sending me reminders Now it has stopped sending my husband reminders also Please fix this so we do not have to go to the trouble of getting a new family calender         Kim Couchman

It is great I love the app I love the extras like the family journal etc The only thing that I think could be improved would be access to the monthly calendar without paying for the premium service I understand the ads without premium but not having the monthly view feels kind of frustrating as it is something being withheld that probably doesnt cost Cozi anything extra All in all though we do appreciate having Cozi and think its a great wau to keep the family connected                 Gail Foreman

very useful calendar for the whole family and each family member has access shopping list and to do list at the push of the home button along with your schedule you can choose to notify family members via reminders in calendar or via email of new events appointments that aren t on their radar yet 4 stars because I have a couple suggestions to develop further and the calendar view esp monthly can look a bit too dense Only zooming by tapping and then you see 2 days at a time 4stars                 J Thor

Very disappointed with my upgrade to gold I can t get notifications like I can in Google calendar The app insists that I add an email address to all the people involved in an event in order to make a reminder but even after I ve done so I still get the same error and it says I need to add an email address The app is also very slow and freezes on my phone daily Wish I would have just stuck with the free version     Sara Perts

We love love love this app We use it to make a family grocery list that is always with us no need fo snap a pic of the one on ghe fridge or text everyone when we stop at the store we use the cakendar to let everyone know where we are work plans outtings appointments etc instead of texting to find out We use it to stay on the same page                     Jen Charbonneau

This app is very good at pulling the family s schedule s together At times I found a few niggling frustrations e g sometimes editing an event would lead to a duplicate being created no explanation is given as to why some items appear in bold etc but overall I would highly recommend this app to others                 Timothy Greene

I used the paid app for a year and liked it well enough but customization lacked for the 30 I paid for it Limitied color selection for assigning to people and events which was a problem for me because I color code everything depending on event type But it is a very good app that has a ton of functions in one program so it works well depsite that Not being able to tap on the date box to view detailed info was also crappy You had to tap the tippy top of it which was slightly inconvient             Danielle

Highly recommend this family organizer I frequently forget events but the shared calendar allows me to easily keep track of what I have coming up Shared lists are great for shopping and the to do list works wonders for the kids chores The interface is great adding removing events is easy and overall a simple yet extremely effective resource                     Glenn S

My family and I are using this app for just a week now So far it is enjoyable to see that we all are getting the notification for our schedule I can choose if that is only for my husband my son or for both of them What I really like about this app is that it is not only helping us with our everyday schedule but also my boys can put anything they need in my grocery list They don t need to tell me that they need a particular thing and I will write it down I love this app                     Myra R

The general idea of the app is great however the interface and functions could do with some improvement for example To Do List Reminders why not have an option in the creation settings to add a reminder deadline date Intead of having to add a text date in US format not everyone lives in the US to be able to get a reminder and or have it appear in the Calendar             Paul Finn

Several times a week I don t get the preset reminders for events on the calendar I have to uninstall u0026 reinstall the app Then I ll start getting reminders again for a day or two only to start missing reminders again It s very frustrating Looking for a reliable calendar app This sure isn t it     Mary Drifke
