Too bad flightaware screwed with the map and satellite resolution I should have read the reviews before I updated I usually do This new version is awful Map u0026 Sat map resolution is terrible Plane position doesn t update automatically One star rating is too high Plus there are more ads and they take up more screen space I want to go back to the previous version They said oh you can t go back     Verne Winter

Thank you Much better It does what I need which is to identify passing planes Only downside After looking at a flight s details it returns to local view rather than the location of the flight being looked at Example looking at flights from West Coast to Toronto over Saskatchewan will always return to the Bruce Peninsula                     John Flanagan

Getting less useful with each update Just like with several other apps that I use and were originally very good the developer with each update screws up the app For example I used to use this app to see helicopter traffic in my area now that is non existent And as others have attested to the notifications dont always work I have begun to hate updates anymore they may fix some bugs but they always introduce more and usually bigger ones It s so stupid I will probably not use it anymor         John Gaughf

When the app works I love it Paid for the key to have more features BUT lately it just loses everything forgets searches freezes half way throught a flight my husband s a pilot so I follow his flights The only way to get it going again is to uninstall the app and reinstall it         Vivienne Gailey

I find that Flightaware can be useful at times but sometimes the app displays wring information For example I was tracking Malaysia Airlines flight 2 from KL to London which displays the service is flown by an A388 in fact when I move on to flightradar24 it displays the the service is flown by an A350 can you guys fix this problem             Chiew Yi Khang

The app shows a bunch of info including flights on the map But the main reason why I payed for the app was to get notifications when a flight arrives or gets delayed And these notifications NEVER work Never All permissions are granted alerts for a particular flight configured and yet it s quiet No notifications never Bummer             Andrey Mironenko

getting worse by the day updated to the latest june update flight been taxing for last hour still on the ground as per flightaware when due to land in 90mn for a 2h 50mn flight cant pin pount departure location on the map always points to the USA i may have to look for something else with more accuracy yes i know it is my phone the user never the app     Airbus Heavy

It seems to be a great app at first paid to remove ads Unfortunately when i was trying to register as new user I kept getting the same generic error message saying the username name is unavailable I have tried multiple options and still getting the same result At least tell me what went wrong in error message so that I can fix it Very frustrating for app I just paid for And without login to the app I can t even use flight alert Think twice if you re getting this app     YR S

Its not showing all planes that are near my home and the refresh often doesn t work It hasn t shown any of the last 3 planes that went over my home nothing close at all even though I m in the flight path of an airport If it does show the plane it s not very current It worked fairly well before the last update     L Isaacson
