The Fotoo - Photo Slideshow Player is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.3.1 has been released on 2014-06-9. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Excellent This is exactly what I was looking for to use an old tablet as a photo frame I am showing photos from an SMB share on my server A few suggestions 1 Publish on the Amazon App store so this can be easily used on the cheapo Fire tablets even if this would mean no Google Drive Photos 2 Offer an option to show two photos side by side if they don t match the screen orientation i e two portraits side by side when the tablet is in landscape 3 Customizable date formats                     Henrik Pfluger

I love this app I purchased it and have had zero issues Very easy to use One thing I would love to see added is the ability to add your own focus point to individual photos I use this app on my Android TV device to turn it into a digital canvas of the masters art works and it would be amazing to add a focus point on each individual photo for zoom in and out etc Thanks again for an amazing program                     Jack Porter

Great app I turned my old useless tablet to photo frame I even did some wooden frames to it Looks great I still have one problem Scheluder works for turning the app off with timer But timer to put app on does not work for me I have old android 5 0 in use Is there some work around for this Maybe some setting in the device                     Lauri Karppinen

Working great on 3 fire tablets accessing my local NAS drive I looked long and hard before coming across Fotoo which in addition to cloud options also offers local network options This app is elegant and simple It maintains a clean interface while still allowing the user in depth control and customization options It can be as simple or as customized as you want but either way it makes your pictures look great                     Michael Verhoef

Its hard to understand how it works i set up pictures folder for screen saver but nothing works just got a Totoo logo on the screen while i change a phone Expected more logical set up About to delete if it keep doing what Ps actually i uninstall it cos it s useless for screen saver if you have free version you have enouing remainder to buy premium while change the phone Only waist of time to remove advertising every time i want to use phone             Dziugas Augustinavicius

I have the pro version and I think it s really a good digital photo frame Lots of option available for photo source effects and features I believe there are more then enough options to make average user happy However I ran into a problem that it will stop shuffling through the photos in Google photos It will just repeat the same photo after about 5 minutes Hope this can be resolve in future updates                 tesla polaris

As a standard photo viewer it does exactly what I want However there are a couple of features which just do not work The ability to display when on charge does not stop when taken off of charge You have to manually stop it which means you also have to manually start it when putting back on charge too The ability to access offline storage may or may not work the developer admits they have no idea as to how you set this up This means this functionality does not work at the moment It appears the developer has had the app written by someone else and cannot offer help regarding remote functionality which seems weird Apparently the ability to write a help file is currently beyond their means             Annie Body

Beautiful photo app I have a question I purchased the app on my phone I also have it in my tablet but the tablet app is not recognizing the premium edition If i try to upgrade it on my tablet I get a message saying that I already own this app I restarted my tablet but it still shows the basic version How do i switch to premium mode Also any future integration with Spotify for background music                     Pallab Gupta

I ve really enjoyed this app up until recently I ve used the network SMB connection to a network folder of pictures that we ve displayed on 2 different android tablets and has worked perfectly up until recently The shared folder was on windows server 2012 r2 while it was working and I recently upgraded everything to 2016 Since doing that the app no longer can auth correctly to my file share Hopefully this can get fixed I can t find any reason why this wouldn t work anymore                 Brandon McKenzie

This is the best digital photo displaying app I have found I have mine set up with Google photos and add new photos to it ever few days I love seeing my kids on my desk at work I set up the scheduler so it turns on every day when I get to work and off when I head home                     Nicholas Boller

Installed this on an old fire tab to use as a digital photo frame it was worked wonderfully The thing has been running for over a week with no problems I went ahead and bought the pro version after a few days Definitely recommend                     Rafa Tapia

Perfect slideshow photo frame for an old tablet showing a google photos album Works in daydream mode so the tablet remains locked requires premium which is a good price Security Tip Use a secondary google account on the old tablet and create a shared album that you can fill from your primary google account                     Andy Joiner

the premium version of this app is brilliant remember the series of photos must be in Album form as in Google photos You can connect to other cloud base apps like dropbox gallery one drive Will not recognise BT cloud which has its own slideshow of course once you have paid it will work on multiple platforms                 Nick Marten

This is a wonderful app with a very professional user interface It has lots of settings to control how the slideshow presents and works well when mirroring to Chromecast I would give it 5 stars gladly but I just can t find a way to ask a support question so I will put my question here I see that the app supports finding photos located on an SMB network server I assume like a windows file share Please tell us exactly how to make use of that as my attempt results in No servers discovered in local network Do I need to load a separate SMB app to make the connection to the windows share before using Fotoo                 Tom u0026 Michelle Breckon

Great APP The only downside is there is no support for INSTAGRAM or FACEBOOK if you could add this the app would be perfect I do still recommend to others to download this app even though this support isnt present I have this running on a spare tablet in my house 24 7 setup schedule switching off at night and coming back on in morning Kudios to the developer keep up the good work                 Tim Costello

I have found Fotoo to be a very effective signage program The only issue that I have encountered is that I can not directly point Fotoo to read a folder off of a USB device The Google TV device that I am using does not seem to have Gallery as an accessible app Some trick to get Fotoo to read a folder from a USB drive would be great and definitely make it a 5 star program                 Paul Everitt

Pretty good slideshow app One of the few that supports Google Drive as well as Google Photo Like others have had some issues with it seeming like it won t view all the photos in my Google Photos album A recent update or perhaps a device reboot has helped Bumping to 5 stars after a helpful rapid reply to my suggestion from the developer                     Sam O

Great App I use it to turn my tablet into a photoframe when not using it One feature I d like to see is the ability to display exif captions It can clearly see the exif gps data and is currently displaying filename on my tablet but captions would be more meaningful                     Michael Stone

Google photos not showing i installed on my phone and tablet but on both devices it says no albums available But there are a few hundred photos Edit I have 6 albums but they don t show up in fotoo Edit2 I have reinstalled the app and cleared all cache and now it works                 Roger Berger

The app is nice but syncing just doesn t seem very reliable I ve set it up to pull from Google Photos and set the sync time to 5 minutes but it just doesn t seem to want to update I feel like I must be missing something I m going to give it a longer test and seem if it s just quite slow to update I want to use it for a digital photo frame for my mum who is in a home so we can all send her photos but if it doesn t update in a reasonable time it won t be much use A small feature request Add the option to show the Google Photos caption for a photo instead of its filename The filename is generally pretty meaningless just whatever the camera came up with             Sylvia Leader

I like the app using it on Nexus 7 2012 and tried to go premium but Google has blocked the attempt and said the following Less secure app blocked Google blocked the app you were trying to use because it doesn t meet our security standards Some apps and devices use less secure sign in technology which makes your account more vulnerable You can turn off access for these apps which we recommend or turn on access if you want to use them despite the risks Can this be looked into and let me know when the fix should be expected Would love to go premium once it s solved Thanks 3 star for now due to 5 min lockout and will update the rating after the issues are dealt with Thanks Update I actually did a factory reset before installing fotoo and I found out the issue It turns out I needed to be more patient and wait for Google Play Store Framework etc components to update themselves which makes sense because the older version likely isn t as secure as Google wouldl ike as the newest version Issue s resolved and thank you for the prompt and thoughtful response which pointed me to the right direction changed the review to 5 star                     Calvin Du

This is a very nice photo app Unfortunately adding date taken or location darkens about 1 3 of the image and this make the photo looks weird I hope this gets fixed                 Slava Makovsky
