App is stuck on loading screen or black screen Tried reinstalling but still the same Used it once so far but am not able to get the app to work now on samsung galaxy s10 Also if you go out of the app while using it eg looking at a menu of a restaurant or their website some of the functions on the app doesnt work like locating my location using near me edit issue fixed by uninstalling then turning phone off and on and reinstalling 2nd edit after a while the problem persists     Tony Kim

It s great now glitch been fixed so easy to have multiple people sharing device except at times if you need to remove someone have to email headoffice to do so and gets complicated if they don t reply straightaway be easy if you could just at your end remove this But easy to find place in your area                     Rebecca Sandford

April 2019 Glad to see they have reverted back to the older version of the app so I have updated my rating accordingly But what is being done for members who couldn t use it for 3 months Janauary 2019 The app has still not been fixed and it is near impossible to use I will not be renewing my membership again November 2018 Why fix what ain t broke The new update has made the app far slower to load harder to search and browse Huge step backwards                 maree mcconnell

Terrible update Don t do it Takes forever to load your new offers are not new but some how takes ages to load Doesn t work when you try to redeem vouchers resulting in embarrassment at the counter You no longer have the ability to edit the redemption amount so you can have an accurate count of how much you have saved Instead you are told you have saved Which has little resemblance to your actual savings This is an app that makes carrying the entertainment book attractive It s that bad     S C

It s so hard to read since the latest update Yes there are two views but neither of them suit me And what happened to the two sentence description of each place so you got an idea of what they are sell Searching for places is the hardest part The new version seems to want to load more offers every single time you open it not so bad if you have unlimited data but otherwise it s a pain The new version looks nice but its so much harder to use The search function also no longer brings up suggested similarities when you re typing which means you have to remember the name of the place exactly which is frustrating if there are multiple ways of spelling something or it s a quirky name Otherwise you have to switch on the location and search by map which uses even more data Really the update is awful as a whole I don t know why you messed with the old one You prettied it up but now it sucks     A Google user

The app is terrible as others are saying you have to do at least a minute of updates every time you go in Bet that s where all my data goes I also hate the non functioning search or the fact it s tough to see places that aren t near you I want to look at the restaurants in town not on my street but it s next to impossible And I don t want to see 30 maccas coupons in area     Cath NZ

OMG How frustrating and unintuitive is this new and improved version Honestly trying to search is painful trying to scroll through with it s stupid new wave like pattern which then you have to load more you get kicked back to the start when you back out of viewing an option How do I get the old version back If they keep this without refining it I won t be bothered again     Holly Hatalafale

The original version was much better I uninstalled the previous app which wasn t any good and uploaded the new one as at 23 2 19 and it s still awful If you search for a place that isn t available it doesn t say that it just sits there as if you didn t search anything And everytime you open it it updates no choice to update later And updating takes ages I m not sure if I want to go back to paper books or give up on Entertainment Books all together     Kally Barton

Down to 1 star now Since the gee whiz release the one that means the app can t be moved to the memory card we also see the return of an appalling feature as soon as the app is opened it updates the offers No checking at all I DO NOT want to update using mobile data while I m looking for a place to have lunch Very very unhappy that this update has turned into bloatware so cannot be saved to my memory card Lost all my favourites     Andrea Johnston

Since the app overhaul the app is incredibly slow often taking minutes just to start The new user interface is confusing and the whole thing is a massive step backwards in terms of usability Unless it improves before next year s subscription it s unlikely I will renew my subscription A once good product is now incredibly frustrating to use     Adrian Clark

Since the update I can no longer search what I want to in the app I can only see what is near me This is so stupid and frustrating please just bring back the old version which worked perfectly well Edit the search function is now working properly which is great but it still takes quite a while for the app to load which is frustrating         Tania Fernyhough

Ever since upgrading to the new format the app has been counter intuitive clumsy and slow Upgraded to latest version last night as it promised better performance Now it doesn t load at all Just sticks on getting latest offers I gave one star as there is no option for zero stars Get this sorted Roll back to old version immediately Any other response is just arrogance     Jeff Irving

Great app but since the November update it s painfully slow and searching is not as easy Before when you wanted to search you either tap near me and up pops a map with local offers or you tap search icon and the keyboard appears with a flashing cursor ready to type Now when you tap on the search icon you either have to tap again on either the invisible search bar it s hard to find as it s white on the exact same white background which is most of the screen for the keyboard to slowly appear so you can then begin typing or tap near me the extra steps make it much slower and less intuitive than it used to be I wish i hadn t updated it Also the FAQ page no longer loads from the app and i have to search in google instead of the app Furthermore since the update it has listed my phone as being 2 users The concept is great but the execution of the latest update is what makes me downgrade this app                 Mead Sally

Great when it s working but since the last update reset it keeps telling me I can t log in on my phone as I have reached the maximum allowed devices of which my phone is one i deactivated all the linked devices through the desktop site to start again and still have the same problem Sigh Thanks for the email advising it was fixed I did try calling the 0508 number when realising I had a problem but it was not answered Since we often use our app in the weekend it s a bit poos when that s the time that no one is answering the phone             Angela Oliver

Since the update you can t search for anything You can type in to the search bar but there is no button to push when you are finished Sometimes certain restaurants disappear which you have had to try to find in the first place since you can t search for it directly but then later on they reappear I wish I d got the hard copy as it is now too much effort to actually use I paid too much money for this for it to not work     Steph Fraser

I preferred the old app This one is annoying as it insists on updating even when it s not convienent and the other day it said it was updating for twenty minutes I gave up and couldn t use it in the cafe I wanted to I also find that when you search by name sometimes it doesn t bring up the relevant offer even though the company is definitely on there             Sam TGT

The updated version is INCREDIBLY painful to drive Absolutely ridiculous how long you have to wait for it to Load while standing waiting to pay But wait it gets worse THEN you have to search through which pre update was never an issue But this version is SO unintuitive clumsy u0026 delayed I will not be purchasing this app again     Elly Williams

This app is somehow worse than the old version of this app still available if you also have an iphone Has to update everytime you load it The map service often doesn t work The search function is hard to use One you select somewhere the voucher redeem function often doesnt appear and when you click on it it doesn t work and will just freeze the app     Alex Carr

the update is pathetic search does not work even if u get something you cannot get to the redeem option it was so much better earlier thankfully still works with iphone UPDATE Re installed again and nothing has changed and its not just me who has this problem Search page shows up and is UNRESPONSIVE Even the search in map view is unresponsive The page freezes up and does not let you select the search bar to enter any text I am using it on a Samsung Galaxy S7 this app needs more testing Please don t screw up the iOS app with a similar untested version     saurav sen

The update to this this app has been a definite improvement One issue though Every time you open the app it spends 2 to 3 minutes updating the offers This is quite an inconvenience when you want to pay or when you want to find a place to eat You don t even get the option to cancel the update A shame since otherwise the app is great                 Darren May

None of the redeem buttons are working It comes up with a window saying unable to redeem you are offline I am not offline and it does this when I m perfectly connected to home WiFi as well as on my data and I have minimum 1gb data Not sure why I can t use my own vouchers Have had this same problem for at least 3 days have contacted but still not fixed yet Also the new app update is the worst as others have stated below very slow to open app stops functioning and closes at random time     J Nieve K

same problems as everyone else search function is useless keeps starting my search location from AUS and now the loading screen which is SO slow and tedious to begin with won t actually load even though I have followed their directions to delete the app and reinstall GARBAGE and now I cant access my coupons so what is even the point     Laura MacDonald
