The Celtx Script is now available for 3,99 € for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.2 has been released on 2014-01-7. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I love this app but there s 2 things I need to mention 1 an extremely common bug that happens is when the cursor jumps back a letter and makes the last letter written get pushed if you try to type and won t fix itself unless you back out of the current script 2 a sort of page system to make finding your spot on the script a lot easier                     Bailey Judd

Having a way to write offline that syncs when finally connected to internet is great but that is one of the few advantages of this app besides the formatting of course I have a external keyboard with an arrow pad that I use only when writing This has been the only app to behave oddly with it I can t keep going down the lines of script I have to hit u003e to go to the next line after every paragraph             jamie hollaway

I like the app but have an annoying bug The cursor will not return to the end of the sentence For example The v will mark the cursor location I type a sentence The cat ran over the angry dog with a tractor v Then I go back to a word in the sentence to edit it The cat ran over the angry wolf v with a tractor Then click back to the end and the cursor will not go to the last character The cat ran over the angry wolf with a tractor v and no matter what I press it won t go back                 Eli Dettlaff

Great app but beware of bugs Tried on iPhone and android with different bugs on each In iPhone it often suddenly jumps to the start leaving the page you are on In android it randomly deleted bits of text once in a while or the cursor gets stuck behind the second to last letter meaning you can t delete the last letter without deleting from the text below which is often action or character that becomes blended into the text type you are trying to delete in the first instance Please fix Celtx             John Palmer

Tbh it s a good apps But what i don t like is it always needs internet connection and when the internet is bad many trouble will appear in this app like delay when typing some word lose and another But it will be a great app with good internet connection                 Renaldi Hadi Nugroho

The mobile version is disappointing It has a lot of issues starting from a self refreshing glitch which erases certain portions of the writing It is pain staking as you have to rewrite again The software too hangs now and then Requesting Celtx to sort out the issues Honestly It completely pisses me off I just lost and entire scene I constructed due to the apps self refreshing glitch Please sort out these issues         judhajit sarkar

Generally a good scriptwriting program but with one super annoying bug You frequently can t move the cursor to the very end of your text it stops a character short so you have to select the next line then delete or type from there             Earthstar Smith

I used to love this app on the iPad But here on Android there s one huge bug that bothers me When typing the cursor stays before the last letter or character typed and you can t move past it or edit it unless you save your script and reopen it again Please fix this it s the most annoying thing in the world right now     Kean Planas

To know something about the app it should firstly get opened The app tells us to enter our user name our e mail and then the password I entered evarything and then clicked on ok and proceeded further After that i clicked on OPEN APP Then the app told me that the app cannot be opened as the e mail is not correct To correct it i pressed the back button but it did not go back That means the app had stopped there itself I was nither able to go further nor able to go back What to do     VIDYA DESHMUKH

celtx is wonderful But the android app seems to have problems The keyboard starts lagging soon within a minute or two and that spoils the whole writing experience Glitches come up and at times whole sentences get deleted on pressing backspace And this has continued over six months now                 Sayani Das

this app is awesome for writing scripts it s takes time to load if it is a long script I worked a file on my laptop on celtx app then i saved it on celtx server However when i open the file through celtx mobile app it opens the old file not the updated one     GOURAB MITRA

I just entered a screenwriting contest and I was excited to learn there was software out there that would format it for me as I ve never written a screenplay and had no idea of all the idiosyncrasies involved in writing one Unfortunately I don t know if this is working like it s supposed to It keeps double spacing where it shouldn t and won t let you single space no matter what you do I just printed out what I have written so far just about 3 pages plus the title page and it printed out each SENTENCE on a SEPARATE sheet of paper On a positive it did number my pages for me I guess I ll just have to find another app or set up and write it manually as I know that the layout is critical when it comes to the script and since I m in a competition I don t want the software to be my downfall This seems like a big waste of time trying to figure out the software when I should be concentrating on my script HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED         Sandy Vf

This is easily the worst scripting app that I ve ever used It s ridiculously buggy frustrating to use and wastes a lot of time because of all the issues The default notepad app on my phone is a lot better     Dave Kelly

Overall quite nicely structured and relatively easy to pick up does certainly make script formatting very easy and acessible However every 20 words or so the typing interface will duplicate two letters that I have typed place them at the end of my sentence and make them impossible to delete unless I reload the program As you can imagine it really ruins the flow of things Would be a really great tool if not for that glitch             A Google user

hey this app is great and all but could you fix this issue that has it making the last two letters in the line unelectable sometimes I get it to work but at the same time it doesnt work more than it does I try to subvert this by making the last few characters of text just a couple of spaces but to no avail                 James Averill

The format and functionality are very good It s easy to write and edit scripts and to collaborate with other users The biggest drawback is the limit to how much about your projects you can change without paying the expensive subscription fee Editing the number of episodes in an episodic production deleting unwanted extra files etc are kept behind a paywall                 Andrew Hamel

at first this app was great but eventually it died one of my projects is permanently locked for no reason and so for the free version I can only have 2 projects and then those 2 barely work due to crashes full pages not saving and even text not deleting I want to like this but I just cant for what I have experienced             Slutty Jesus

Sync malfunction caused a month s worth of work to be wiped out like it never happened The app only cared about progress on the app Celtx on the browser deleted the extra work that went into it cause the app didn t have it when I booted it up Just use a word processor like a normal person     liamclarke91

I got an email saying that this is a 7 day trial despite it being labeled as free on Google Play Store It s slow as hell and takes up to 30 seconds to type ONE word consisting of four characters I emailed the developer who basically said they don t know why it s slow and can t help     Eduard Erasmus
