The Diary for Garmin is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Diary for Garmin app version 1.0.1 has been updated on 2015-01-5. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. It doesn t work I connected to my Garmin account it even shows my little image but it doesn t load any data Just says nothing found I tried everything I emailed the developer and never got a reply Great idea massive disappointment     Chriss Pepper

I d give more but when you can only use 5 10 of an item unless you pay more money is ludicrous You pay 130 for the watch and can t understand anything nor can you use 90 of its functions because the only app that does anything with it is locked down until you buy their Pro edition I ll now be throwing the watch in the trash along with this app and going back to the watches by Samsung         Derrick Braune

All working again now with the latest update Excellent app It picks up and shows information that Garmin s own app does not After the update I had to re Install nearly five years of data It got to 12th March and stopped today is 18th March Now all I get is Authentication failed Has to be the worst update ever                     Tony Pagett

Application is more robust than Garmin Connect but is inaccurate According to what my watch reads my minutes per mile are usually less than what shows on Garmin connect I appear several seconds per mile faster in this app I would rate 5 5 if this was fixed             Mixed Mark Robinson

It is incredible that an independent app is much better than the one created by big corpo that is Garmin It has most of the things missing from the original activity calendar detailed weight structure tracking ability to upload activities including all details and many more for those who like to dig into their data all wrapped in a nice layout On top if you spot a bug and you provide direct feedback it gets fixed quickly                     Best companion app to go with Garmin Ada M
