I understand the thinking on how it should work any pixel on an amoled screen uses power make every other pixel black and you use less power Would like to see some benchmarks to know just how effective the app is Feature wise I think there needs to be more conditional options as to when it s enabled For example between certain hours and if your screen brightness is below a certain value on top of the included battery level condition Probably worth noting that a side effect of using this at least on a galaxy s6 is that there is significant banding on any smooth gradients on the screen Probably unavoidable based on the way the app works                 Mark Saint

The app does a good job with what it does with the screen readable and all But According to my power monitor it actually used 14mAh more current when used at grid 4 Max saving Mostly a 1 2 higher load on the GPU offsets the screen savings So it seems you re using a tiny bit more power for a much scrappier screen Suggest instead jet black wallpaper Galaxy S4             Bill Kirkpatrick
