If you are Android owner,you now can download Beltone HearPlus for free from Google Play. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Beltone HearPlus app version 1.3 has been updated on 2015-02-10. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This new version is much better than the old one A frequent new occurrence however gives it a rating of 3 I experience the app starting to connect to my h aids then half way through the app stops and dies When I try to start it again it starts to connect then quickly flashes and stops Not until I restart my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 does it work The old version did not have this problem Still the newer version is better than the older one             rob jackson

Updated Galaxy S8 to version 9 software and app will not connect to hearing aids Local hearing specialist offers no assistance I ve read all the horrible reviews from Android users and tried each suggestion to no avail Some customers say they solved it with customer service How do you even get ahold of customer service Not happy when these things cost as much as they do Update no help from customer service Basically ended 3 day email trail with sorry     mary Burroughs

When I switched from a Samsung Galaxy S7 android version 8 1 to Galaxy S10e android v 9 recently the new smartphone could not pair with my Beltone Legend 17 hearing aid With Beltone support help l cleaed the cache and storage in this app and was able to pair the haering aid with my smartphone This current app version is very user friendly and has a demo option to show all the features I am disappointed to see that the app is still linited to 4 different hearing modes music practice                     Joseph Yao

Basically happy Beltone Legend Samsung Galaxy S9 When I switched from S7 to S9 I lost the ability to save favorite settings app stops when SAVE pressed The app shoud also have the ability to query and display hearing aid model and other info battery strength accumulated hours of operation status info etc The pairing should also be more fault tolerant and provide better help when pairing fails Given the cost of the devices it feels like Beltone is short changing the software                 Tim Nemec

Terrible app Will not pair on my Galaxy S9 Tried fresh batteries turning on off multiple times The hearing aids connect just fine to my iPad and stream directly to my hearing aids without issue Beltone appears to prefer to be an Apple IOS centric company Gurantee my next hearing aids will not be Beltone will look for something more Android friendly     A Google user

Hearing care professional said the hearing aid requires a firmware update in order for new release of software for Galaxy S8 to work He s reluctant to do it because there is a risk of frying the hearing aid What s with that         Steve Robertson

I have the Samsung 8 The app first did not work Went to my Beltone rep Got update on firmware for my Legend aids Works great now like it did before The app allows me to change volume and programs with ease Great app                     A Google user

App worked fine with my S5 active but when that phone died and I had to switch to something newer no joy For the price we pay for the aids you d think you would have an app that is updated on a regular basis to reflect the changes in technology Epic failure of an app Editing my original review after the update that took almost a year to finally drop this app is officially JUNK The newest update will supposedly work with the Samsung S8 but it s not happening Exactly 10 seconds into Retrieving Information the app says no hearing aids were found which is what it dis prior to the update Uninstalled and reinstalled the app tried fresh batteries nothing works At this point they could be running on direct power from a nuclear reactor and it wouldn t make a difference The hearing aids will work with older android phones but the update did nothing to allow them to work with an S8 It will probably take a class action suit to finally get Beltone to deliver on what they sold all of us since the app is one of their big sales points     Bill Jackson

I use this app to adjust my elderly father s Legend I can do most of that manually using the hearing aid s rocker switch but it s a little harder that way since I get no feedback The app has a finder feature that is useful if the hearing aid is nearby It won t connect with Bluetooth more than once until the hearing aid is shut off and restarted This app connects often to known tracking servers so you may want to use blocking software             Somewhat useful but a privacy risk Karl S.

I actually upgraded my phone so that i could use the app for my hearing aides as a blue tooth because my doc told me it was coming to samsung galaxy soon and it still hasnt gotten here i cant use my hearing aide at the gym because i want to listen to music so i have to put my ear buds in If i had the bluetooth and streaming capabilities available for my device i wouldnt have to do that i could just use my hearing aides Super inconvenient             Hohummm Rachael Fisher

After reading through the reviews the app itself works fine Audio streaming is only available to Apple at this time This holds true with every manufacturer This is also not a Beltone issue it is android and their Bluetooth language                     Instructions Z
