I ve clocked up thousands of miles with Drivemode now over the last six months and am very pleased I use it mostly on a motorcycle but also with the car both using BT connection as the activation trigger The interface is good there s a Labs option to display all icons at once that I prefer to scrolling between options and the functions are good Using voice to reply to text and WhatsApp is easy and I ve paid the upgrade to remove the signature from messages as a show of support I ve two niggles 1 I use CoPilot a satnav that s supposed to be supported by Drivemode but it doesn t work with the voice search feature I don t know if which app is at fault but the devs need to talk to each other and solve the issue 2 The auto activate feature only works with my Galaxy S8 if it isn t in my pocket i e the always on clock is showing Otherwise I m very happy 5 stars despite the niggles                     Adam Hougham

I really want to love this app but can t All I really want is an app that will turn on with my car s Bluetooth and block all text messages while sending an automated response This app does this when it detects my Bluetooth but that is only about 70 of the time I use Player FM Drivermode never starts where I left off It starts the most recent podcast and goes back from there I listen from oldest to newest and want to start listening where I left off and move down my list             Lynn H

Very user friendly and simple to use there are options to add more features if you desire Clear accurate maps understands voice commands app will locate an address or a business name And I like that it opens up when it detects I m in a car but it is just a side bar it doesn t take over my whole screen unless I choose to use it                     Leslie Dslehite

This is useless on Android 10 with gestures enabled You need to swipe from the left to open it up however with the gesture all that does is the gestures for the back button         Steven Hall

Great App This app is very customizable I have it set to turn on when connected to bluetooth in my car It turns on automatically and turns off automatically Just as its designed to do Its even intuitive enough to ask me if i want to shutdown Drivemode if I start using different apps on my phone and senses that I m not driving anymore And if i receive multiple tests in a row from one contact it only replies automatically to the first incoming text LOVE IT                     Kenneth Settles

Absolutely love this app it automatically detects when I start driving and opens on its own and closes once I m done driving The speedy response from the development team when I had a question was the icing on the cake I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to drive safely without having to look at their phone for messages                     Michelle Naeder

Can t turn the volume down so when it comes on OR I shut it down it is 50 times LOUDER than my other apps etc Many times it says it doesn t understand or says I don t have that person in my contacts list when I do It is not perfect but it s mostly functional                 Julie McIntyre

As a very basic car mode it seems to do its job However there are a few annoying niggles Can t turn off the sound lowering when a menu is opened no option to turn off WiFi when the app starts Navigation defaults to Favourites when I want it to just open my satnav app and it rarely seems to start automatically when my phone connects to my car s Bluetooth As it currently stands it s no different in functionality to the myriad car mode apps out there         Shaun Collier

Great app just what I ve been looking for If you have an older vehicle not equipped with all the wifi internet blue tooth technology this app is what you need It is still being developed but if the development matches what is done so far it is definitely a 5 star                     Hugh Norstrom

It s ok but The app launches but doesn t stop when I get out of the car The voice command doesn t work so I still have to touch the phone which is illegal in CA Music app doesn t launch without going through too many steps For me if voice commands do not work I have to find a different app             Christie S

Just 3 months ago i gave this app 1 star alot of glitches but i kept the app Now with each update most glitches are gone I don t have to speak fast anymore reacts better with car understands everything i say now and everyone is getting my text messages now My wishlist please find a way to where i press my phone button on steering wheel i can activate voice command on app without having to look and touch phone                 sea cradev

I have a love hate relationship with Drivemode When it works it works great The problem is that it does not always work consistently especially the function to automatically detect when I am driving it is a very useful app I just wish it was more consistent                 Steven Shatz
