This app is a simple regurgitation of a small subset of handbook data and is too incomplete for it to be of any use to the working machinist Perhaps it is meant as a guide for hobbyists sorting coffee cans of fasteners in their garage but it is of little use beyond that Unfortunately the developer doesn t appear to actually understand what is required to cut a thread and only lists theoretical min max values for the major and minor diameters So I guess this is meant to augment the tables in Machinery s Handbook but if I have to go to the Handbook for the rest of the data why bother with this app in the first place Original review I was hoping this app would have information for thread cutting that would make it really handy for machinists who often have to single point threads on a lathe Unfortunately i don t know if the minor major diameters given are for full 100 thread forms or something less 75 would be great Also the list doesn t have a lot of common larger threads at least the ones i have to work with The 8 pitch series and 1 3 4 12 come to mind I would really like to give this app 5 stars if you could just add a little broader data to it     A Google user
