and my images are sent to me instantly great tool when used this way this is what I recommendthis comes in handy with my call forwarding app as well                 Great item my suggestion to have full effect get another cellphone a cheap one will do I went out and got an LG 306g from Tracfone for 20 bucks its a pretty good phone for price with a decent sized screen

Please add dropbox upload and phone lock deactivate Great app Would pay a little with these features added                 It works

App is great the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you cant take short videos instead of snap shots App works great havent had n e problems yet              Galaxy precedent

This app provides an excellent motion detection algorithm earning it one star Unfortunately an undocumented limitation exists that prevents the capture of more than 500 motion images When this limitation is reached there is no way to receive notice of motion events Essentially this application is useless if you intend to use your smartphone as a security camera        Unable to operate overnight

I left my kitty at home during Christmas and decided to check up on him with a surveillance app I set my phone to watch over his food with this app and things worked great at first I got an email with a pic of my kitty eating Time passed and for the next 24h I did not get anyhing I got worried and cut my holidays short Turns out this app breaks if you get a Skype call At least my kitty was ok     Stopped working and ruined Christmas

Worked well as standalone motion detector Didnt have any probs with it stopping when screen lock came on Tried it on a few phones ZTE Manta Sammy Ace2 S5 all OK Upload to server seems slow and can only use devs cloud site not dropboxDrive etc Not sure if it works on cellular The big hassle was the email address I entered for email notification was immediately spammed be med supplies adverts Make sure you use a recognizable email so you can block these the subject line is different so you can still allow the detect alerts through           good app but spammed after using it

Got this working after fiddling for 15hours frustrating but now that Ive got it working I am increasing its rating The layout does something weird landscape to portrait and back making it hard to surveil a specific area and the pictures are very blurry The motion sensor does work though and it is taking pictures as promised Since Im trying to figure out which of my dogs is an evil genius it will work because they have different color blurs but if you need discernable pics Im not so sure           Upgraded comment

Works kind of on my old Google Nexus S Im using Motion Detector Pro with Dropsync which uploads captured photos to Dropbox It would be nice to have a Dropbox upload build in Also a time stamp would be a very welcome feature as well as a possibility to specify detection areasCaptured photos are only 720x480 of size It would be nice a have full size photos The most awful feature is that it deactivates itself randomly at least once a day So you need to always press Activatebutton again for Motion Detector Pro to work As a free app I can only recommend this for testing purposes Most likely Im switching to another app and pay a few coins for more and working features          

The detection and cloud technology works beautiful but it needs the screen to be on the whole time which draws attention to it The moment the screen times out the app turns off so I get surveillence for 30 seconds after I put the phone down useful        Shame

I dont know what to do Will it beep even if you have the main menu on your phone when someone touches it Im confused Give me examples Please explain to me        Confusing

What a great app Easy to set up Tested it and it does exactly what it says I like the feature of sending who was caught on camera to another phone or email And its free no gimmicks                 Exactly what I was looking for

I liked it even with its limits I would like to see the adds go away since I paid for your program but they still appear Otherwise I would have given it a 5 Also like others I dont like the fact it doesnt have a bypass for the default screen and power saver this would be a good option              Great item

Works well except it will only use the phones builtin messaging app for SMS I would like the option to use other messaging apps like hangouts I also would prefer the photos to be uploaded to my Google Drive account

Should have given more stars but cant I want to save my triggered images on my SDcard but it wont           Pls fix the problem of saving images on SDcard

I was looking for a simple way to let me know if my dog came in the pet door when I was away from home I had looked at expensive security cameras and monitors but none fit the problem I set this up on an old Driod phone in a few minutes and it worked right away It is so easy to set up and turn on the surveillance on and off It worked perfectly and will save me worry about the dog being out and save me money trying to buy an expensive monitoring system that may not work as well I cant say enough good things                 THANK YOU This is a perfect solution

Using since 3 days 5 stars Still would like to have these features also Then some more stars 1 Facility to rotate the image by the user selected degrees 090180270 before saving 2 Auto activate deactivate at the user selected times instead of the present countdown for activation 3 The program may work even if the screen is autooff Battery saving 4 Facility to upload to DropboxGdrive atc also 5 Not to restrict the picture quality Let the user select withing the users camera options like picture qualityLow Lightjpg quality 6 The images may be saved to the filename UserName DateTime 7 Facility to save photos to Ext SD memory card                 Working perfectly without any operational issues

This is prob the best of the pack I do find some things are missing though hence the 4 stars 1 This app cant film video 2 You should have an option to swich from seeing cloud storage photos to those you told the app to store on your phone I find it a real bother to oppen another app to see the pictures 2 You should be able to set up hours where the flash will go of and some where it wont 3 It would be nice to be able to select different wav or mp3 files as the sound to play whene triger goes of              Fantastic

The app does what it says it does and hasnt had any issues so far What Id like to see in a future release would be uploads to Google drive or perhaps true background support locking the phone if disturbed or picked up etc I use this on my spare LG F3 basically a mid range cost phone from perhaps 2 years ago and that phone has no problem running this application Very well done Thank you again PS Surprisingly it uses less battery power than Id expect              So farexcellent Thank you to Dev

Some kids have been fooling around in my front yard or someone is casing my house for another break in As a result I thought of using my old Droid phone to work as a simple web enabled security camera I soon found this app and so far it works pretty well It does crash alot but probably that is more due to the fact it is running on a custom ICS ROM on the original Droid1 Right now it is stable and sending me images perfectly via email One thing that is a problem is that currently the phone is mounted in landscape mode but upside down due to the position of the power cable The images that are emailed to me are also upside down It would be great if they could be shown respecting the orientation of the phone ie not upside down If I catch anyone expect some donations coming your way for sure Thanks for the great app              Great app needs to respect phone orientation

Simple to use Adjustable sensitivity Motion detection works well on my 12GHz Samsung phone I just wish it would take pictures at my full 5mp resolution It only does 800x480 heavily compressed Id like to be able to capture cool wildlife photos but this is more of a surveillance quality Its so low quality you might as well use an app that takes a short video When it detects motion Id like it to be able to take a series of 5mp photos with the number and delay adjustable Id pay for a version that could do that It only takes one photo and then has a minimum delay of 10 seconds              Needs Higher Resolution

Absolutely horrible image quality My phone can take 8MP pictures with full details and your app forces the worst image quality at 0 JPEG quality Ive ever seen Garbage app dont waste the install     Horrible image quality

This concept is really cool it alerts you beeps you save image send text and email Its a perfect spy camera with an alert but there is a problem if i want to use this app for spying overnight property trespassers then its a problem App shuts down with screen lock out and closes itself Need to add background agent to run in background and enable night vision           Shud be able to run in background
