This is the first player out of the dozen I ve tried that plays audio books properly It also plays a series of books simply by playing the folder they re in I have The Chronicles of Narnia in 7 different folders If I want to hear just one book I play that folder If I want to hear all 7 I simply play the parent folder Perfect                     Matt Siverd

Honestly the best folder player app out there there s just one issue and it s a deal breaker for me If I accidentally click another folder s play icon accidentally then I lose my position on my current folder which has like 100 subfolders Now I can t get back to what I was listening to to go to the next folder without playing the top folder and and skipping through something like 1000 songs If I could select a subfolder and carry on playing subsequent subfolders this would be 5 star             Victor Martinescu

A great folder player app I used to use Clean Music but that is not being updated so I switched to this and am very pleased I like to use file names rather than tags but it s nice that Folder Player has tags available as an option for the times when I want them I found an obscure problem with the app and the developer was very responsive So I m well pleased with this                     R ba

I ve been using this player for so many years And I like the simplicity But recently it skipped or muted audio in between track even though the player still plays the muted track I wonder this has something to do with my phone or my headset Still rate you 5 star though                     Eko Setiawan

Used to be great app when all its functions worked Now if you want anything like queuing songs or playlists or almost everything you would want in a folder player you are advised by the app to BUY folder player pro So it s not free this is a watered down version of the useful app you have to buy I only have one piece of advice for those after a truly free fully functional no ads folder player VLC Media Player don t waste your time with this     Tim Bone

Deeply disappointed since the last update I loved this app exactly what I was looking for but now the widget will no longer work and many songs just skip onto the next one about a minute from the end I will happily change this review to 5 stars if it can be reverted to the previous version but as is it is no longer useable         Damien Hickey

This app is exactly what I needed from a player app Which is the simplest thing to select the folder with the music files you have stored in the memory and play it simply as that In the positives the equalizer can be active or not in order to get the real neutral potential of the files and hardware set the home directory from you file system I have selected the Music folder and optionally avoid deleting files folders from this app in order to be protected from the human error I d like to see more beautiful font backround theme variety cd art while you are in the app and play a song                     Lazaros Kourtis

I used this for couple years Loved it But I updated it and now it keeps ruining in back ground I m an app killer Think greenify Why is this set so aggressively I used god mode to throttle its actions It fought back Really what do have against my battery I never almost never 1 star so this says allot It has been removed I m out looking for one like this use to be It s just a music player that s all I need     ming chow

This is a great app with an amazing sound The only downside with it is that it only plays MP3 I have used it for years but if I want to play other formats I have to use another player Any chance the other formats can be added                 Olive Wilson
