RSA SecurID Software Token

The RSA SecurID Software Token is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new RSA SecurID Software Token app version Varieswithdevice has been updated on 2014-01-24. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is a workaround for Android 10 1 Import ID file url whatever to a non Android 10 device 2 Backup data with TitaniumBackup 3 Restore backup data to Android 10 device 4 Run this app on Android 10 device RSA will not check network status this time because of invalid security token it will ask you to remove existing data Click Remove button 5 Now you have bypassed network status check Import ID file url whatever again on your Android 10 device 6 Hola             Kun Zou

This app does not work on rooted devices even if you hide root It also seems to go though the list of installed apps on your device and fails to work when it detects another app installed on your phone that it does not like What s worse is that the debug logs of this app does not tell you why the app does not work All you see is an error message that the device or the software on it is not supported You really have to debug to find out what the issue is and work around it The old RSA app did not use to have these annoying limitations But yes you can get this to work on a rooted device after wasting a lot of your as well as your IT dept s time     K T

When I first opened it after installing it told me to take the phone out of airplane mode and restart The phone wasn t in airplane mode I restarted the phone anyway still get the same message And that is all it does The app is useless for me Pixel Android 10     Jennifer Strong

Unable to use this with Android 10 I emailed the support that RSA has been posting for the beta copy and have not received any response Pretty abysmal support and I m definitely looking for alternatives in the future Other software token providers have figured it out you should be on top of this     Anuj Mehta

As much as this is a good app for generating secure access codes It does not work now after updating to Android 10 RSA should be on top of their game release updated versions on time anticipating newer versions of OS Does not instill confidence     Tarun Murthy

When trying to import a sdtid certificate on a Pixel 2 XL running Android 10 the app reports an error stating to take the phone out of airplane mode and restart This occurs even if the phone is NOT in airplane mode The import works perfectly fine on Android 9 devices     Eric Rubino

I used it to get my token to access my bank account I tried to scan the QR code and ot didnt work despite being alligned no matter what I did so I exited the app and tried to refresh the code on their website Somehow I gained access to it but my app does not show any token code despite it being confirmed as working Now I have no idea what my Token is and now its binded to this phone even though im utterly cluseless     Nami Nightstep

I ve been using this for a number of years on my Samsung S7 and Google Pixel C but since 13 06 19 I had to have a new token as the Citrix website I use it for to logon to work kept erroring and saying incorrect details try again Now the code it generates with the new token on my Samsung S7 is the only one that works on the Citrix website No idea why             Miles Buckland
