The new HomeWAV app version 0.1.25-prod has been updated on 2014-11-27. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Oh my Lord this app is awful First of all the inmate s voice plays from the small speaker that you re supposed to put your phone up to during a call not the regular speaker that allows you to hear a person and see their face at the same time And then most of the time he can t hear me at all I ve tried my Bluetooth headset and 2 different speakers 75 of the time he gets no sound on his end But we still get charged Video messages i receive are zoomed in like 4x HATE THIS APP     Allie Burgess

Gives you an option to record a 60 second message to send it Nope You tap the button and nothing happens I tried holding down the button to record and it didn t do anything until I released it and I got a short 5 second screen saying recording and the it kicked me out Very frustrating     Storm

I want to know why this app needs permission to run my camera in the background Better yet why did it just run in the background for 20 min There is no reason for this app to run on my phone for 20 min in the background In my opinion that is very scetchy Just saying this app is now deleted from this phone and I m going to buy a new phone tomorrow     Anthony Johnson

The video messages constantly freeze and still take money away i have tried contacting by email with no response I continue to use it to talk to my husband but it would sure be nice if they could refund the messages and video time that freezes Its very frustrating seeing my husband frozen and not being able to communicate especially when i am paying for it             Diana Rogerson

the quality is not very good it freezes a lot and errors out and still takes the time away and the way it calculates the remaining time is not right it rounds down so if you have 45 minutes and 58 seconds when you hang up it takes away the 58 seconds so you lose a minute and this is not cheap it s very expensive 25 cents a minute at that rate it should at the least calculate the time correctly including the seconds when you hang up and when it errors out it needs to refund the time         Matthew Couch

Homewav is really amazing but its crazy how the connection breaks often and the money just wipes off even when u didn t have a proper chat and the video messages seriously why say available time is a minute when it will only last for seconds and worst of the video breaks and it s like everything you said has been cut Despite all these I am grateful I have a means of communicating please do something about the network                     Nelly Timbong

This has been a wonderful thing for me to be able to contact my loved one the only thing that I have experienced as I m having trouble scheduling a visit whenever you click schedule it just shows you the days that you have chose to schedule your visitit does not allow you to schedule that visit on the app I have to go to Google to the main website in order to do so now that I have been doing thatthe website itself is now telling me I have to schedule the visit through the app                     tiffany Wilson

when i first downloaded the app it worked fine Day 3 and everytime i got a call the video would show up as connecting then it would log me out and i would have to miss the call because i was trying to log back in i called support the woman refunded me and told me to uninstall and then reinstall the app now just waiting to see of it worked         Tamara Hilgefort

this app is one of the worse it freezes up but your money is still removed during the freeze up with a 10 deposit you might get 2 5 minutes of a visit instead of the proposed 20 minutes and they don t refund your money this is larceny by conversion a crime in the state of michigan the site is never fixed and has had so many complaints i have filed complaints with the attorney general of michigan this site should have been shut down a long time ago the video messaging works occasionally but it freezes up most of the time let s boycott this felonious site     TC TC

Not really sure about at right now I ve only used it once or twice First two times I ve used it it seemed a little slow when it came to the voice Communications The first time I use it it froze up completely So as for me it s a wait and see situation to see how well this works Personally I think it s a shame that taxpayers in Anderson County there is a lot of tax dollars goes into the Anderson County Jail and it really looks like to me that we have to pay now to talk to relatives and friends that maybe presently locked up I believe a lot of people don t realize you do have the freedom to go and see your relative at the jail but it s no different You still have to sign in with your username and use your password The video chat at the jail it s not any better then you on you have over your computer or telephone It looks to me like it totally eliminates personal contact of anyone at the jail Plus they take 2 off the top of all the money you put to talk to your relative Understanding its just 0 25 a minute plus the 2 they get off the top Just give it a little time let s at least 6 months to a year it will be 2 a minute plus the 2 off the top This whole thing is all about the money so my question to anybody that lives in Anderson County Why are we even paying County taxes when the county they re going to sign a contract with a private provider and charge the citizens of Anderson County money just to talk to their friends and relatives This is a joke that s just my opinion             Don S
