Harder to search for stuff Need to reset searches to get it to work Customer service seem to be very poor or lacking Almost impossible to report somone carrying out blatant fraud Tried to report it months ago As far as I can tell there still posting and trying to rip people off with an urgent money transfer scam non existent goods and fake address You need better reporting systems in place     Thomas Sloan

There seems to be some sort of overheating issue I have many apps on my phone and can spend 30 mins to an hour on them but as soon as I open the gumtree app and start using it scrolling withings 10 mins my phone is on fire literally the screen and the back of the phone is roasting HOT As soon as I come out of the app and shut the app down within 10 minutes the temperature of the screen and the back of the phone is back to normal I have a samsung Galaxy S9     michael andrews

was actually really good but the user interface refresh was done by clueless monkeys who had to change everything for the sake of changing things It WAS intuitive NOW it s not It WAS straightforward NOW it s not It WAS easy to find and do exactly what you wanted NOW it s zany bright but also clunky clumsy unintuitive and user hostile Maybe they actually want people to use it less Let s see if they ve the intellect to admit they were wrong and revert the reviled changes I doubt it         Ethan Beck

The app works The radius doesnt I seach with location on and set to 30 mile and results from everywhere appear If u can be bothered to look through them all for something local its ok But facebook is just so much easier Just done a search within 30 mile of county durham Top result Inverness 2rd result Sittingbourne Lmao Shame         craig stothard

Overall very good but two issues Why do the ads not stay open when you close down the app it goes back to the beginning and you need to retype your search 2nd thing when I place an ad I get at least 5 calls from some call centre trying to get me compensation for a nonexistent accident One last thing when you swipe the pictures it goes onto the next advert                 Simon Ewing

Great website but the app is atrocious its unbelievable that someone has been paid to make something so unfit for purpose after 9 months and many updates the search parameters still continually reset themselves to all of gumtree forcing me to close and re open the app then re enter my search details I would give this app a negative star rating if possible inept and frustrating it demeans a truly great premise and those responsible should be ashamed of themselves for such woeful inadequacy     Cletus T.S.J.Yokel

Terrible app Search in motors only some sellers have the full up to date info eg mileage manual automatic Other searches are not so good either What was wrong with leaving it as it was 1 star is all its worth Used to love having a browse but no fun now     Angbony Wright

Good app My only gripe with the Gumtree app is with the location based search results You specify a set distance from your location or postcode and you still get results from well outside your local area You specify 5miles but you get results 20 30 miles away             Justin Yare

What has happened to Gumtree It used to be a plain and simple NON intrusive app Now you have to go through all the issues with too many companies wanting to know your business Even when you untick the main box all the sub boxes in show partners stay ticked absolutely disgraceful what are you doing gumtree Thank you     my list

I have updated my gumtree app but I am experiencing difficulty the previous app was much quicker to place an ad and when I try to send messages to people enquiring about ads it says DRAFT why is this I wish I hadn t updated now was so happy with it before it was so easy and straightforward     Lynne Jackson

I m absolutely disappointed with this app I ve been using gumtree since day one and now I cant even pay for my service ad What is happening Theres no telephone number to call to speak to any customer service representatives and when you do email you never get a reply Pls help     Aydan Ulugun

Great app u0026 helpful in many ways I do think there should be a section under My Gumtree to be able to view my Expired Ads so I m able to then pay to re add the ad rather than having to go through the Website                 Dom DSM

It seems to take too long to get to the desired advert also does not seem to stay on on advert required overall experience with Gumtree not good I do not know why I live in Bristol and I seem to have problems with Gumtree all the time I hope you can make it as efficient and as effective as other sites             Andrew Williams

this app used to be top before adverts came in when scrolling though ads now it s very slow and glitchy plus makes my phone very hot my phone is a s8 plus very capable phone still all other selling sites are sound can t see them getting rid of ads though can you         w z

I use gumtree everyday I love the app and it s almost part of my daily routine I buy and sell loads on gumtree only little niggle would be the filtering system isn t that good but just means I get to see all the other stuff too Happy days                     Roger Moore

Rubbish App messages don t work takes too long for an advert to go live then they re mysteriously removed for being fraudulent Absolute nonsense and while my ad was briefly live full of scammers Post Gumtree response I contacted your customer services they told me my account was suspended then disconnected me So I ve no idea what I ve allegedly done or whether I m the victim of a scam poor service     Jenny Taylor

Privacy policy is misleading why at the top of the page and not at the bottom after all the sliding options Why agree and proceed the only option available and not reject and proceed rejecting the options shown     shafiqur rahman

A few bugs getting in the way of a pain free experience My inbox constantly shows the not connected error message I often see replies hours after they were sent causing me to miss out on deals Also for what ever reason items that I favorite don t show up in my favorites list quite a frustration As others have pointed out items outside of the specified search distance are showing up in search results Thanks for a generally useful app You ve helped make the world an easier place             Beede Bawng

Hate gumtree now as all ads are from trade when looking for a private seller for a car you have to look through hundreds of trade pages first much better apps out there     david yates

Latest update s are so image greedy that the entire Gumtree experience is hindered to the point of unusable We have various devices so this is Not down to those There is just big images which need to load before the search page even loads itself The previous Gumtree ask worked great but now it s not worth bothering with Very sad Goodnight latest version     SkipSpotter

I used to be quite a heavy user the decision to fill the text copied when you choose to Share an item with spam for the play store app listing has made it unusable I use the app to find items for myself and family members and having to edit out the extra text which is not the item URL every single time means I ve gone back to using the mobile and desktop websites instead of the app     Angus Rigby
