As of 09 20 19 Simple support is still staffed with human operators and account specialists that will pick up the phone and talk to you without jumping through hoops battling with an automated system This is good stuff Had account for 5 years no issues Not great for anyone that has to work in cash App is clean goals are easy to use they got rid of direct to mail checks so you have to mail them yourself now but other than that easy to use clean simple                     Sam Young
Using Simple only for interest on savings and the internal transfers method is really buried hidden in the goals area deposits go to the checking I guess the selecting a goal thing may matter if you use the checking for your spending but using it as a savings only w a Protected Goals account choosing a goal doesn t actually count the balance in that account toward your goal Makes no sense Just not an easy too use app         Brian Lane
I was so excited about having this alternative banking solution They let me put thousands of dollars into their bank a few days later they froze my account because it needed verification I have tried to verify many times called them on numerous occasions to the point I wanted to close the account I can t even get my money back until my account is verified but no one has given me any useful information on how to do it so it works     Brianna Brown
I thought this bank was perfect with the 0 fees and budgeting software however there s no reason why deposits need to take three days Also weekends don t count either so have fun waiting around 5 days if you deposit on any days but Monday or Tuesday Not very convenient so I may search for another bank that offers what simple does without the long deposit wait             Tony
Simple has really helped my husband and I to get our finances organized easily and conveniently With no fees and instant transfers they were always fantastic but now they even have paper checks and an option for shared accounts HIGHLY recomend to everyone for easy reliable banking                     Nyomi Paine
I have used Simple for 3 years Overall the experience is great I love the app The biggest downside was the long check holding period for the first 30 days If you get paid with paper checks it s a pain at first but after that first month it s single business day If you get paid heavily in cash pick another bank However twice now a bug in the app adds and calculates money that doesn t exist It ruins the whole app because nothing is accurate If these keep happening I m out                 Drake Watkins

Overall good software This is why I still use Simple my main gripe is thay they removed the Bill Pay feature so I now have to do a weird workaround to pay my auto loan This is still a very standard feature and it wasn t a good idea to get rid of it so soon in my opinion Some things in this app like protected goals are also confusing and unnecessarily complicated to use Sometimes it feels like I m serving the app not the other way around             Jacob Pritchett
Simple has some really nice features like setting goals for things I want to save up for the ability to budget monthly expenses and see exactly what money is safe to spend so I don t cut into bill money Main gripe with the app is that from time to time it will bug out and not accept my password so I have to reset the password to get it to work                 Rick Elliott Jr
Both my wife and I have had Simple accounts for years They were idle for about a year We recently re added money to the accounts Both cards are failing at point of transaction Problems with the card Probably and maybe even expected But for the life of us we can t get Simple to respond through their messaging platform to our requests for help Very frustrating     Eric Spery
I loved using Simple at first recently they decided to due away with the mail a check option which I used every month to pay my rent There work around was to tell me to pay it in cash or give them money for checks I decided to switch banks afrer that Now they are giving me the run around about transferring money to my new bank I would stay away from Simple     Vito Favaloro
the activity log only shows about 15 of the money that actually goes in and out of your account if you want information on any of the rest you won t get it frequently 50 100 would go missing from my account with no sign of where it went And was only returned back to my account after days of sending messages to support with no response I d sooner trust my three year old nephew with my money     Cale H
Their app is seamless and their customer service is very responsive and helpful Their check cashing software is also accurate I have never had to resubmit a check with them My debit card info was stolen during the British Airways hack and I had to dispute two charges that were made with my information Their fraud dispute team helped me every step of the way providing updates and a provisional refund of the stolen funds I was disputing I can t recommend them enough the lack of fees is icing on the cake                     Brendan Westfall
You have no way to get money out if you lose your debit card A lot of waiting for mobile check deposits and transfers Lots of weird charges and changes to account activity that make no sense You have to wait up to 21 days for a new debit card Cancellation of transfers from one bank to the other without notice making it impossible to close the account or get money when you do lose your card     Donna smith
been using Simple for a few years They recently got rid of bill pay which is ok because i can write checks something rare to online only banking But what gets me now is inability to borrow a small amount the day before payday You see i still have Capital One 360 on the side for purpose of spending a little 100 over the limit with agreement to deposit it back in 24 hours other online banks allow early payday 1 to 2 days These things will truly make Simple a better Bank                 Mr_ Fabulous
For a bank that s totally online you would think you could do everything within the app that you could do on the web site But nope you can t You need to change that Simple Outside of that Simple is okay no fees easy to get set up doesn t bombarded you with adverts begging you to start direct deposit like Chime does                 A Google user

I don t usually leave reviews but I had to say how much I love Simple They really live up to their name it was so simple to fix when I lost my wallet and needed a replacement I blocked my card right from my phone and had a new one being mailed to me the next day Simple s customer support team is exceptional fast and super friendly Absolutely would recommend to anyone                     Andrea Porter

I am excited to use but I am having a little trouble getting past the identity verification process My driver s license to verify who I am went through but my address verification still has yet to go through This is the second time I have uploaded a copy of my lease where I live that has my name and address on it The first time the app said that you all were having trouble verifying my address Please fix this I really want to use your service Thank you                     Dad OfSteel86
i have been with Simple since 09 15 but never really used them till 2016 i was also sad when i open the account to soon and discover if i waited i could have possible got a signup bonus when i switched from Google Wallet Used them for awhile never had issues untill 2018 2019 The App would glitch out not show Balance Info nor last transactions on and off out of the blue as well as the desktop UI out of no where they set a Mandatory 2FA SMS that you cant Request off and if you have a phone that does not do sms etc you are told to open a Google Voice SMS is not the best way to save guard anything its been proven to be a joke then you have the LOCK CARD Glitch ah i love this one so embarrassing holding up the line or server comes back saying card was declined More then 5 times i had issues with the lock where it gets stuck server side took 15 then a hangup then a re call 10 15min later to get hold of someone to reset the lock at a restaurant where it did it i open app re lock unlock and worked thank god did not have to call same at the Dollar Tree last week im moving to VARO Money its better and more App Features u0026 Bill Pay and load money at GreenDot Locations 0 Fees bank             Hayden Saures

Biggest problem with this app is they re supposed to text you so that you can access your account but sometimes the texts take 30 minutes in which case the access page you were supposed to enter the digit numbers to get to your account has expired                 A Google user

I ve been with Simple for a few months now and they re simply amazing I see a lot of people are butthurt over the billpay thing Y all are doing too much use your debit card for automatic billing or get a money order and stop cyber whining in reviews If you had any business management AND banking knowledge you would know that it costs Simple money to have the billpay service and it s more effective for them financially to axe their billpay service since they re not a traditional bank                     Rico Falvella
I love this bank Amazing customer service I ask questions and I get straight answers When things go wrong they respond quickly and make things right without making you feel like they are just trying to get you to leave them alone When you are confused or even dead wrong about something they take the time to talk to you like a person and explain things out They let you know everything up front and I have never had any issues with Bill Pay or with Direct Deposit When I send checks to people they get it when Simple says they are going to get it or sooner I just wish more people used them so I can use their cash transfer Its absolutely free Now the Cons Slow Bill Pay 2 to 3 business days But if you plan for that then you are safe Direct Deposit isn t early when I feel like this type of bank should be The money goes right out it should come in right away too Objectively that involves outside elements ATM Fee is minor but still there I use the Cash App to offset this Overall definitely worth the try and for me the main way that I bank Arnie                     Arnavick Tendilla
