The app is mostly links to other resources e g the maps on York s website But it also claims to push emergency alerts but doesn t appear to There was a shooting on campus last night but I definitely didn t get alerted If people are supposed to count on this it needs to be reliable         Not everything works A Google user

There s nothing exceptional in here but it does give access to things someone worried about security might be interested in Most interesting are the options to contact security particularly the ability to send photos to them Can t tell whether security will actually be paying attention if we do send them things though             It s a start Joseph Gormley
