No it isnt perfect But its the best attempt Ive seen to make a real sonar device from a cell phone In 10 years maybe our phones will have the capacity to run a perfectly accurate sonar app I love it when people find clever ways to implement the technologies on the phone Thanks DICON Very Cool App

Well it obviously measures something but I dont think it uses the back mic on my xt720 the measurements are pretty absurd 05m to 5m against conc

Result is interesting but as in explanation it saysthis doesnt work well on all phones

Cool program that is fun to use and fairly accurate SUGGESTION Use the sensors in my Galaxy S4 to automatically calculate the current speed of sound based on the phones built in humidity temperature and barometric pressure sensors for an always accurate measurement in any room Excellent app
