This app is absolutely perfect There are a lot of nice features and everything can be configured For instance the Lava lamp and Music feature But also the animated presets And don t forget the numerous widgets which are very handy Using the widgets you are able to directly change for instance the presets colors and brightness Also to switch the lights or groups on or off I ve been using this app now for years and it works very well I really recommend this app instead of the orig Hue app                     Hugo de Oude

Animated presets cannot end in lights being off so you can t save a preset to fade lights out then turn them off after Schedules timers work but are no replacement for one touch to fade u0026 sleep Otherwise one of the best Hue apps with maybe the best widget and easy settings                 Reijo Nyberg

Best app for controlling Hue systems in a useful manner The custom widgets are awesome and working again the developer is very responsive to problems Scenes are easy to create and edit and all your data can be exported for back up and or transfer to other devices handy when switching phones or cloning settings to other devices you own                     Christopher Parsons

this app actually works better lights respond much faster than the native hue app the native app seems to always be connecting the thr hub and you have to wait until it does before your lights respond hue pro seems to connect to the bridge when you launch the app and does a good job of staying connected until you exit I ve been using this for years so my review is based on a LOT of usage                     scatrbrain

Ridiculous app Yes it provides a clean API for creating animated colour scenes but any animations only work when the app is open This means if your phone is turned off or you re looking at a different app the animation will stop What an absolutely ridiculous oversight from the developers I would have rated much higher if not for this incredible bout of stupidity Simply unacceptable the app is essentially unusable now for me     Michael Ala

how can u set a default color on bulbs Everytime iy followed the schedule it goes back to there usual yellowish bulb color i keep saving a different color but it does not use it when the lights turn on by itself                 Ryan Roe

great app but the main thing i use it for is to sync with music and it stops working when my screen times out comes on immediately when i unlock the phone again is there a setting that will keep it going             Rick Shepard

Edit updated my location in Phillips hue app and schedule is now calibrated Thanks for the help Has the features I need The widgets work well but lack customizability My schedule commands seem to be happening 2 hours later than they re set to These small problems do not keep this from being the most versatile hue controller but it would be nice if they were fixed                 Guy Manning

This is my main Hue app It s the only app so far that lets me set lights to K temperature x y or select color by touching screen I use schedules to auto fade on in morning w my alarm to wake up Best wake up It does everything I need u0026 free w out ads Lights to music or lava lamp animated lights schedule on off for groups or individual I hardly use any other Hue apps                     andrea a

Great but could be better I have few issues but you should have an option to set different bulbs on different timers I like my living room to be deep sea but I would like my kitchen lights come on in evening as relax So far this seems impossible to do only one alarm setting for all bulbs             Steve Bigley

Have used for the last 2 years with no problems particularly like the customisable widgets however recently the schedule seem to be changing on their own either the face disappears or the chosen presets changes very annoying have had to stop using schedule                 John Fitzgerald

This app is the only one with serious widget support Other functions work as expected but I have to dock one star since there is zero mention config for accessory remote and sensors and this is pretty standard for other 3rd party Hue app                 Arya Senna

Love this app very flexible The widgets seem to have stopped working since i updated my galaxy S9 to Samsung s One UI however Reinstalling clearing app data and cache then restoring from a backup has fixed the issue good as new again                 Rayn Abanaki
