I tested this using my Samsung Galaxy Stellar phone using an ASE and the app identified it flawlessly 3 times in a row The secret is to put it in your thumb as demod in the video and flick the coin Great app Works great for the ASE

Does exactly what it is supposed to do Bullion test
It would be very useful to have other common gold coins like double dollars buffaloes etcgreat app though Also how about an option to capture the frequencies of a known legitimate coin save it and use it as a reference for testing others Great app but please add more common coins

Using a FFT by converting a short sound recording to a frequency domain it can check resonances and compare to known sounds for silvergold This is awesome just needs more medallions and coins to be added Possibly the option to add your own sounds Id like to see Canadian maples Philharmonics and some common generic medallions like Silvertowne and Sunshine mint If you write down the frequencies for other ones you can still use this app and just compare the outputs Brilliant

Tested on both ASE and 1oz buffalos very consistent in identifying coins precise enough to distinguish between any coin I tried about 10 different coin types each one had a unique frequency response I feel confident it could identify well made counterfeits Nice App
