Data Enabler Widget

Cant use with new Galaxy S6 I loved this app until I got the Galaxy S6 now Android days its 3rd party and wont let you use it I used to have a Galaxy S3                 Cant use with new Galaxy S6

Appears Google no longer wants third party apps to be able to modify data settings It was good while it worked              No more on 50

Doesnt work with 50 My phone just automatically updated and now it doesnt work with Andriod 50 and I got an error message saying now it will not allow 3rd party app to modify data toggles Andriod just wants to keep your data on and let it run in the background              Doesnt work with 50

DID exactly what i needed New upgrade nixed that Will you be upgrading Please My Android phone works perfectly Tap tap tapping to even find out if data is even on is a total pain Now I have it right on my first page Always know status at a glance and changing it is super easy Thank you                 Does exactly what I need

My HTC One M7 has a builtin data toggle button that I can access by pulling down from the top of the screen however it is incredibly annoying because every single time I disable data it makes me accept a message that lets me know that without data or a wireless connection applications will not be able to connect to the Internet duh Its fine if some users do not know this ahead of time and that was likely the reasoning for adding the prompt but I think they would get the idea after disabling data a couple of times This widget allows me to enable and disable data with one touch without the annoying prompt Thanks so much                 No More Annoying Notification

The widget was great for me pre 50 Lollipop seems Google have made a change where they do not allow widgets to control data anymore which is an utter shame as I enjoyed having an easy one touch onoff control for data Fingers crossed this can be worked around              I did love it until Lollipop killed it

Function wise it does what it says but only 1x1 widget size is available I would prefer an additional bigger one as well as it sometimes becomes hard to easily tap At least for me it does           Bigger widget size support

Awesome widget Was working until ATT forced the 444 update Now they have seperated the standard data and 4g lte so it breaks this widget                 Needs updated to 444

The lollipop update for my ATT S5 Active killed this app It no longer works Please fix it     Lollipop killed it

Great for several years and devices doesnt function well on GS5 I have used this on numerous phones Great way to easily turn off mobile networks to save battery and data Very handy never had a single issue until my att Galaxy s5 for some reason the widget quits working and has to be deleted from home screen and then re added to work Please fix or I may have to try a different widget 5 star app other than my gs5 issue Worked well on My touch 3g my touch 3g slide HTC EvoTmo LG G2X TMO Galaxy s2 ATT Galaxy s3 s5 not so much           Great for several years and devices doesnt function well on GS5

No explanation or nothing I switch on the widget i think all it does is turn green but I can still go online When I open the icon in my apps list theres a crummy page with a link saying Cant figure out The link leads nowhere many people rate this well so it may work Needs a simple manual in correct English at least Uninstalled for now     Not working

I love this widget it functions perfectly but ever since I received the 50 update on my Galaxy s5 its no longer compatible with my os and since att took off their data button from the top panel its been a pain turning my data on and off Please update this little widget asap I need it              Needs an update

Used to love this widget because it worked perfectly as a quick way to turn off only the data of the phone The new OS from Android doesnt let it work though Boo Still leaving good stars though because it worked great before the last update                 Used Love it

Does not work for new 50 lollipop update on galaxy s5 other than that its really helpful especially if you have ATT

This widget is absolutely perfect because it is so simple but does so much I use it often to turn on and off my mobile data to help me in keeping my usage under control There are no ads or any other annoyances                 Does what it says and nothing else

Full disclosure I am using a very underpowered cell phone Samsung GT7560M and I have never set out to use a widget before I installed Data Enabler on the understanding that it would provide a direct means of turning data onandoff on my phone Data Enabler has some very positive reviews GooglePlay indicated that Data Enabler will work on my phone It sounded like a good idea at the time So now Ive got this widget on the main window of my phone I press the icon and I am taken to some links to instructions for installing widgets Data does not seem to get turned on or off And I think the widget is already installed So I go to the company website to find some helpful documentation All I could find were instructions for installing widgets I could be missing something obvious but all Data Enabler has done for me so far is waste my time I am going to take it off my phone     What exactly is it supposed to do

Doesnt work on Lollipop 50 Lollipop has a built in Data Enablerlike app when you click on the cell signal logo in the swipe down settings so this app is no longer needed If looking to save data on an OS version below Lollipop use this app                 Doesnt work on Lollipop 50

I loved this app until a few weeks ago when it suddenly stopped working It saved lots of data and was so convenient to turn it off and on with one tap I guess ATT blocked it now I really have to watch because the gremlin in my phone likes to turn data on so it can be slurped up by stuff I would rather use when I have wifi           Stopped working

Lollipop disabled app its now useless So stupid to make it difficult to turn off data that we pay for     Used to be awesome

Android doesnt allow the shortcut to work on my phone Makes no sense that Android makes it such a pain to disable mobile data every time you need to They must be getting some sort of kickback from the data miners     Why even offer this app

I was having it in my samsung s4 active and then I change it to samsung note 4 edge and its not compatible please update           What happen

Please fix this I would give you guys 5 stars but since the update it hasnt worked It shows if data is on or off but any time I go to press it it says data enabler has stopped working I used this app all the time and its really a hassle without it Please fix it soon        Worked amazing til the update

Does what its supposed to do Idk why you cant toggle data via the notification panel kind of dumb in Androids part and I dont feel like rooting my new phone just yet So thank you for at least enabling me to do it via one of my home screens                 Thank you

My S5 Active doesnt have a data toggle in the notification bar and this helps wonderfully without putting my phone into ultra power saving mode Unfortunate that lollipop 50 kinda has problems I dont but other users are                 Works perfectly

Worked fine until Android patched the app having access to the mobile data onoff Hope theyll eventually get it working again

Really Really im thinking that phones shld already have this as opposed to going into the setting menu going to data usage and blah blah blah Im hoping this does what it says             

I have been using this for nearly 9 months and it allows me switch off lte conveniently Recently my phone is updated to android 50 but it is not working now           Useful but unable to use in android 50

Works great and is well needed as stock android Kit Kat does not have data as part of its control bar which is sad as it is something often used I love the look as it matches the stock look but I just wish it was a slight not larger to match the size of other widgetsbuttons on control bar would have give 5 stars if it was larger

Doesnt Work on KitKat The battle to really own your phone and plan will be a long and strenuous one I will have to keep going the long way to shut my data down because it really has made my data go a long way I am an American and what made this country great is inovation and the free will to do whats best for yourself Not being able to do as I please with my phone is GD Communism Try 3G OnOff That one works     Doesnt Work on KitKat

I previously had this running on a couple of phones without any problems It just worked which was greatHowever since the Lollipop 51 upgrade on my Moto G 2nd Gen its broken well and trulyIve tried reinstalling it but no improvementI dont think this is something the developers could forsee but now its definitely an issue it would be great to see it fixedIn the meantime heres a little tip that may get you byDouble swipe or one long swipe downwards from the top of your screen to see the full Notifications drop down barHere you should see your phone network providers nameDouble tap on your phone network name and a new window will appear showing your data useageAt the top of this new window is a toggle switch for Mobile DataUse this until this widget is fixedYoure welcome
