The app as it currently is works really well Easy to use and great for writing articles on Nexus 7 The only thing Id love to see in a future update would be a sync status At the moment theres no feedback to tell me a sync has successfully occurred so Im left wondering whether my work is available on Dropbox ready to access from other devices              Good app but one more thing would make it great

Great app Distraction free writing A few more features would be nice Fast simple and clutter free Ads are not annoying like other apps Drop box sync works well My wish list for the developers sub folders in drop box and ability to increase font size Thanks             

This is one of the best designed apps I have encountered in my three years of using Android Its definitely going places There are some issues that will have to be worked out For one offline support isnt part of the current build Theres also a bug where the keyboard might not show up when typing you might be able to work around this by pressing the plus icon new note to get the keyboard to pop up then begin writing Thanks go out to the developer                 Outstanding

I am a snob when it comes to text editors Developers tend to create bloated confusing software that either misses key functions or overloads you with features you dont practically use This app is a little gem of good design logical decision paths with an unobtrusive and elegant interface Props                 Fantastic

Frequent crashes          

What I particularly love about this typing app is how responsive and quick it is to type up notesdocuments The simple colours arent much of a bother to me in fact it helps me concentrate with any vivid colours to throw me off though I do love colours However I have my criticisms For instance it requires Dropbox to proceed typing which bothers me as it isnt compulsory other apps similar to this Another gripe is when the cursor marking the location of where Im going to type relocates itself to the beginning of the first paragraph whenever the screen reorientates itself I apologize if I came off as rude this is an awesome app in its own right and I only wish to help make it better                 Rather excellent in my opinion

Let us know when sync is happening and an option to not sync on 3g mobile internet data is expensive              Great but just one more feature

It does not allow me to specify which Dropbox folder to sync This is a non starter for me Many features of other Dropbox editors are missing But the interface is really nice Looking forward to next versions           Clean interface few features

Zero bloat I use Write for my journal entries as well as my works in progress via Dropbox I can put down ideas or dialogue for a story and pick up where I left off on my mba or tablet Only one suggestion I have it set globally in my settings to auto cap the the first word in a new sentence However this app seems to override that and there doesnt seem to be an option to toggle it on or off                 Excellent Text Editor

I would of given 5 stars if you could change font and size for easier reading But its a nice app              Pretty good

Hard to work          

I love the simplicity of this app However it wont let me access settings And I feel like it really needs night mode and the ability to change the font size thats quite crucial Id also appreciate if you could add word count to the app Anyway I love this app and Im definitely gonna keep it and probably buy the ad free version sometime in near future Just if you could please include some of the mentioned things in the next update Thatd be greatly appreciated              Great start

Like others I like the simplicity here Two features would make this a standout app for me First the ability to increase font size I like to occasionally work on my SIII Second the ability to support subfolders within the specified directory Im trying to use this with Scriveners sync feature which creates folders and this app does not recognize files that are not in the root directory Ill keep this on my devices a bit longer in the hope that these two features will be added Thank you           A good start

there are only a couple of things missing here First FONT SIZE It isnt adjustable on my nexus 7 this means that its almost too small to read when its sitting in its stand while I type on a bluetooth keyboard pretty much my sole workflow here Second NIGHT MODE It would be a lot more pleasing to my eye if I could make the background dark with light colored type Third TAB KEY Im writing a novel over here man I love being able to sync a txt file between FocusWriter on my PC but the inability to indent paragraphs is an additional pita when I go back to edit before submitting chapters to my editor Ok all that aside the app is wonderful its exactly what it promises to be zero distractions flawless sync with dropbox thats it Despite the complaints I mentioned above thus the missing star I adore this app and suggest it to any writerbloggerjournalist who is looking for a simple text editor that would allow them to work on the go Keep up the good work devs let me know on those bells and whistles I was asking for              So close

and Im glad I did but I do wish there was a way to categorize notes I know its supposed to be very simple but I think thats a simple enough feature              I paid for the adfree version

It would be helpful if we could group notes into notebooksfolders Adjusting font size especially for larger screens would make it even better              Good

There is a problem with space my phone us kind of big but it says there is not enough space can you make it for every sized phone           Space

An undo button would be nice The drag to select text seem to be glitchyor maybe its just my phone But it caused me to accidentally delete a good chunk of text TT I do hope youll consider adding undo function              Simple and neat

This is a simple and elegant app devoid of any distractions While some may say it is a bit too austere it successfully delivers a pleasant writing experience That said my fundamental issue is the lack of sync to Google Drive Mind you I do use Dropbox however I am heavily invested in the Google ecosystem and would much prefer to have my files synced there              Simple and Elegant
