ComEd RRTP Widget

The ComEd RRTP Widget is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.13 has been released on 2014-01-5. For ensuring consistency with the device you should take into account the following app compatibility information: 3.0 and up

I really want this to work but all it says is error no network connection I can click on it and it brings me to Comed s webpage but I don t get any alerts nor can I immediately see the kWh price Please fix this so I can monitor my usage         David Gregory

Glad I found this app Everything it does it does perfectly I wish it allowed me to set a low price alert I want to know when I should run my dishwasher and do laundry Having a low price alert would be awesome If the price goes negative in the middle of the night I would wake up to lower the temp turn on the dishwasher and start a load of laundry                 Almost there Scott Van Maldegiam

It used to work great but now ComEd is calling their program hourly pricing The RRTP website this references is no longer available It should work great again if they update the URL the widget references             Needs updating to new site Brian Schwind

Allows multiple instances of the widget to be placed on the home screen so you can display multiple prices As author states it s not an app Select it by opening your program list selecting the widgets tab at the top and then putting this widget on your home screen It s compact enough I have it displaying both the expected rate and the 5 minute trend on my home screen Nice job                     Nice job Very compact but readable as well A Google user

Edited after a day of use Dropped to 2 stars Seems that widgets die after awhile with error problem loading displayed If I delete and re add they work again for awhile then die again Does the basic job so three stars Works fine so far on GS3 Improvements I would prefer to see are the option to display more prices on the same 1x1 widget as well as perhaps a 1x2 widget with all three prices on it It would save some widget spots for those with high res screens Add to that a graph widget like on the live price link and you ll be at 5 stars         Good first version could be improved Gerald Fountain
