HUMAX Remote for Tablet

The HUMAX Remote for Tablet is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new HUMAX Remote for Tablet app version HMARG-1.0.4 has been updated on 2014-11-27. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. On Sony Xperia Z Android 5 1 1 does not find Humax HB 1000S despite Netgear D6200 router properly configured for cross device communication a real frustration as unable to find way to paste full 64 HEX digit password for the Humax 150N WiFi Adapter connection timing out before having time to manually input all 64 digits The Freesat App locates the HB 1000S instantly but only offers channel control of course though proving that Humax s own App does not even work with this it s own model     A Google user

So with my Sony tv App I can TURN ON my Sony tv and use the App remote With Humax App I have to Use the PROPER REMOTE to turn on the box and THEN if Im lucky the App remote MIGHT find it and work Kinda pointless App         Matt Coleman

It used to What have you done to break it Humax 2000 with fixed IP is connected to wireless router via Homeplug because its a more reliable connection than your dongle to both the internet and PC at the other end of the house for playback But this stops the remote working Why The topology of my LAN should be of no concern to any app     Doesn t work Tim Hill

This works OK on my tablet but it goes straight into portrait mode and looks the same as the phone version Yes it works but no better than the phone version would BTW to those who can t get it to work at all you MUST enable internet content sharing on the Humax         Is this really a tablet version Ralph Burtonshaw
