The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Been using this app for years It s the best golf gps app out there Gives me distances to all landmarks it s very fast and responsive and simple to use Can t beat it                     David Scalzo

Haven t used it yet as I am awaiting mapping of 2 courses What I like is that this app works offline so that I can bring my old phone no SIM card without running risk of damaging my 800 cell Also I can set the font to be large When wearing my contacts I cannot read small fonts Will update review on Monday as they have mapped my Monday course The graphics are simple and will not drain the battery                     Jay Mayer

Since it was a free app I thought it would not be that good but I was wrong Really loved it Pulled up to several yard markers on the course and it was accurate Also like the way it shows you were you are on the course Look forward to using it again                     Billy Young

The free version of this app gives nothing more than hole diagrams After trying virtually all the free golf apps and being disappointed with each I decided to try a subscription to this app primarily because of the app uses a diagrammed graphic of each hole and not a Google map image making it easy to see even in bright daylight The courses are also downloaded into my phone so no connection is required to use the app Yardages are spot on and gps tracking is quick Perfect for my needs                     Great App Dan Armstrong

Good app for being free It worked well on the Royal Regina Golf course but the distances seem a bit off at our local course Craik u0026 District Golf Club I will be trying it at 2 different courses this week and will see how it works there                 Rhonda Lang

Birdie app is very easy to use and it is accurate to within a few yards I would definitely recommend this app to friends if they want a simple yardage app which includes a 3D image of the golf hole so it is easy to see in the sun                 Dominick Clemente
