I ve been using Open Snow for several years Their app has evolved with the times being very useful to help determine where and when to ski when you have choices It is incredibly intuitive and chocked full of features such as allowing you to favorite mountains so you don t have to fumble around when needing real time conditions and forecasts 1 5 u0026 10 day They also tap into live camera shots you can even see lift lines in some from some cams Also very helpful is their team of regional forecasters who all are clearly passionate about riding and skiing They go deep on the details but also really distill it down This is an app that I really feel good spending less than a cup of coffee on each month                     chris c

Joel and his OpenSnow team are the closest thing to a crystal ball you can get when it comes to predicting snow fall and where it will fall I have won countless bets on powder days using this app And in addition to reporting on the weather Joel is super transparent with his analysis and breaks everything down using radar and models he more or less teaches readers how to analyze weather on our own if that s your bag Anyhoo if you like winter sports this app is a must have                     Jonathan Grant
